They're both so cool and have a fascinating dynamic, they both beat the everloving shit out of god's on the regular, Allison is definitely either bisexual or was at the start of the comic a closeted lesbian and white chain is transfem but in a slightly different way due to her once being (and arguably still being but being a new type of) angel. I love them and I'm really hoping one of them doesn't die in the big final battle they're currently fighting because the comic isn't done.

No update for VS shadow realms today, I was unfortunately busy, though I hope to get some more done on Sunday if not tomorrow. It feels weird breaking my daily streak of posting, even though I started less than a week ago.
Day 5 of Vintage story Shadow realms EU server has ended. Nothing much happened today other than some scouting and the acquiring of vast amounts of copper. I did, however, run into another settlement: the Kobold from yesterday who helped guide us to our new home had set up with some friends nearby, and I was given a tour of the place. It's better than our place by miles.
Maybe one day I'll have a home worth living in... Wouldnt that be lovely.
As the server goes down for maintainence, day 4 (I'm changing the scheme to match the actual days since the server came out) of the Vintage Story Shadow Realms EU server ends.
It did not start well.

Conflating the two cheapens actual slurs and redirects attention from tangible harm.
Regarding autism: it doesn’t excuse hurtful behavior, but it also doesn’t automatically make someone malicious. It’s worth noting the screenshot is cropped—what exactly was called “retarded” is missing. Without full context, this feels less like accountability and more like a pile-on.
But let’s be real: the reaction here is wildly disproportionate. Harassment and death threats over a Google Doc and a few poorly chosen words? That’s not holding someone accountable—that’s bullying dressed up as activism. You can criticize without dehumanizing.
And telling a minor to “die”? Seriously. Get a grip.
I've been following this whole situation for a while now, and honestly, watching you and Gigaroni try to spin this response as some kind of definitive victory is genuinely embarrassing to witness. You're both parading around like Vesper dropped a nuclear bomb of evidence that obliterated the document when in reality, all they did was write a wall of text saying "nuh uh, it's out of context" without providing a single shred of actual proof to back that claim up. That's not a debunk. That's not even a proper response. That's damage control written by someone who knows they can't actually refute the screenshots so they're hoping the mere suggestion of "missing context" will be enough to make people stop looking into it.
And the fact that you both immediately jumped on this as some kind of victory lap tells me everything I need to know about how this community operates. You weren't waiting for evidence. You were waiting for permission to continue the harassment campaign against a kid who dared to call out your favorite developer. Because that's what this is, and we need to call it what it is. You're not defending truth or justice or whatever moral high ground you're trying to claim. You're defending a developer you like from criticism by trying to destroy a teenager who compiled evidence you can't actually disprove.
And this whole futa thing with Gigaroni is genuinely unhinged and I need to address it directly. The mental gymnastics they're performing to twist this into transphobia are honestly Olympic level. Erie and the Arirals are alien designs created by MrDrNose that anyone with working eyes can see are built around specific fetish aesthetics. These characters have no connection to transgender people whatsoever, they're not trans, they're not intended to represent trans individuals, they're literally alien creatures designed with certain anatomical features that clearly draw from fetish art traditions. That's not transphobia, that's just pattern recognition. MrDrNose created characters with design choices that naturally invite certain terminology because those design choices come from specific places. You cannot create fetish-coded content and then act shocked when someone uses fetish terminology to describe what they're seeing. It's like drawing someone in a full Klan outfit complete with hood and robe and then getting mad when people say hey that looks like a Klan outfit. The observation isn't the problem here, the design choices that made that observation obvious are the problem. And Gigaroni trying to twist that completely accurate observation into transphobia is genuinely deranged behavior that cheapens actual transphobia and distracts from real discrimination that trans people actually face. By falsely claiming that calling out fetish-coded alien designs is somehow an attack on trans people, they're actually doing more damage to trans advocacy than Kaiden ever could by muddying the waters of what actual transphobia looks like.
And Icy-Vulpine, your response to then1ghtguard was so condescending and wrongheaded that I have to address it directly. You tried to "educate" them about what futa means as if they're stupid and don't understand basic terminology, completely missing their actual point which was about whether applying that term to these specific designs constitutes a slur or just accurate description. Then you hit them with the "autism isn't an excuse" line while completely ignoring their actual argument, which was that the screenshot against Kaiden was cropped and lacks context. You're so desperate to paint this kid as evil that you'll take any accusation at face value as long as it supports your narrative, but the moment someone points out that maybe we should see the full screenshot before condemning someone for ableist language, suddenly you're an expert on autism and what does and doesn't count as an excuse.
Then1ghtguard is the only person in this entire thread showing any actual critical thinking skills. They pointed out that futa isn't a slur, that applying it to fetish-coded designs isn't the same as misgendering or deadnaming someone, that the autism accusation relies on a cropped screenshot with missing context, and most importantly, that wishing death on a minor over a Google Doc are unhinged behavior no matter what you think of the doc's contents. And your response to that reasonable take was to basically say "well actually you're wrong because I say so" and continue the pile-on.
You both need to take a serious step back and look at what you're actually doing here. You're defending a developer who has had accusations circulating for years, who had someone so dedicated to documenting this behavior that they spent years on it, and whose official PR response was essentially "trust me bro" with zero evidence. Meanwhile you're sending death wish to a teenager, cropping screenshots to make him look worse, and acting like you're the heroes of this story. The lack of self-awareness is staggering.
At the end of the day, the document exists. The screenshots exist. The patterns of behavior exist. And nothing Vesper wrote changes any of that because they didn't actually provide counter-evidence, they just provided deflections. You can choose to believe their word over compiled evidence if you want, that's your right as consumers of information. But acting like this is settled and the kid is just a crazy harasser with no valid points while you actively harass him is hypocritical behavior that completely undermines any moral authority you might have tried to claim.
Then1ghtguard is right. You both need to get a grip.
I often regret making this post. I wanted to try and be a relatively neutral party to get it out there before somebody who was a lot more black and white on the issue could do so and twist it to whatever side they see fit.
Granted, I am on the side of MrDrNose, but from the base post you can see that I was just sharing it, not having an opinion on it. I even emphasized the viewer to go see the post themselves. Tumblr cropping didn’t help either.
While I don’t think my response on the Futa and Autism thing is very kind, I still stand by it, and is still neutral despite the aggressive tone. I have dozens of friends in the LGBTQ+ community, and they informed me about Futa being a hateful term to certain groups. The Autism part stands true. Being autistic is not an excuse for being a dick.
I regret making this post oftentimes because not only did it put fuel on the fire of this argument, it also puts me in the blast radius so to speak.
I am so fucking tired of this argument. I just want to play the game and write the fanfiction without all these accusations being thrown around from both sides.
You can still play the game and write the fanfiction, even if you don't agree with Nose. Many of the people against Nose do, because the problem isn't the game, it's his behaviour on a different platform. VOTV is an incredible game that I love, and I play it and read fanfiction about it and I don't feel a lick of guilt.

Nobody is telling you to stop playing the game and stop creating fanfic. At least, nobody worth listening to is. Do what you want, but do it informed. Please.
Thus ends day 2 of Vintage Story Shadow Realms EU server: and unfortunately so does the server. Due to some technical issues relating to some of the mods used, they have to wipe the whole thing today. However, they're giving us a big care package of stuff to get us on par with where we were before in terms of progression (and in some ways ahead of it!)

Just played 5 hours on Vintage Story Shadow Realms EU server. I'm going to give a quick summary of the first day! Technically the second, but due to delays, most people only started today. I was part of the largest guild on the server, Starfall.
For some reason, we started in the dead of winter. We were all incredibly cold, though we were provided some insulated clothing. The main consequence of this was that we couldn't get many berries or start any farms yet, and had a died of exclusively meat. As the innkeeper, the cooking was my job. Usually this was 4 redmeat Megastew. The one time it wasn't was, well...
"Green With Glops". A terrible onion and bush meat soup that made nobody feel happy. Everyone immediately realised the reprocussions of making the British person the chef.
We did, however, make good progress! The server has gated progression by time, so we're stuck in the copper age untill the 15th. As such, we made the most of it, doing what we could to progress as much as possible though the cold winter. We built a bridge, though I don't have an image of it.
A friend of mine also built this. We call it the Kobold Den. Nobody but kobolds can fit. He's chiseling an entire house in there.
Anyway after realising that we couldn't progress in many ways and after most of the server had logged off for the night, The guild leader and I did the only reasonable thing: go insane and kill as many bears as possible.
This image doesn't show the 2 other bears we had on the meat racks outside. From these bears we plan on making ourselves some bear armour- black for the guilf leader since it fits her character and brown for me as my character has a brown beard and I think it would be funny. Then I logged off for the night. Tomorrow I'll give another update! Here's to season 3!

My apologies to the original poster as I photo captured this post to add to the thread-I reposted this last year for pride and expect to repost it every year I have left-it’s our history people.
Marsha P. Johnson allegedly died of suicide in 1992, and her death was never investigated. Even I, a mere prole, could catch the “she was murdered” vibes from the circumstances surrounding the discovery of her body.
Without a trans black woman, LGBT+ rights would not exist. Never forget. Never “pay it no mind”.
