First take a standard rectangular piece of paper (I used one from a small notebook which I ripped out then cut the holes off)

Then fold in half touching the shorter side to the opposite shorter side.

Fold again making the new shorter side touch the other new shorter side

I did this one more time, but this time I unfolded it right after to get back to where it was only folded twice. It should have left a crease in the paper.

Using this crease, fold the corners up alongside it to look like this

This are also going to be unfolded, but this time you’re going to push in alongside the triangular folds you just made and undid.

Doing this once will result in this

Adult Swim unveils first-look images from 'The Elephant,' a novel three-act special created independently by the Cartoon Network legends.

Adult Swim has assembled a superstar coalition of celebrated animation creators for one of its most ambitious projects to date. Patrick McHale (Over the Garden Wall), Ian Jones-Quartey (OK K.O.! Let’s Be Heroes), Rebecca Sugar (Steven Universe), and Pendleton Ward (Adventure Time) have reunited, in a manner of speaking, for Adult Swim’s The Elephant, a narrative experiment premiering December 19 as an ad-free special on Adult Swim before streaming the following day on HBO Max. The project is produced as a triptych, with each act created in total isolation from the others. Sugar and Jones-Quartey collaborated on one segment, McHale and Ward helmed their own respective acts, and none of the teams were aware of what the others were making. “Game masters” Jack Pendarvis and Kent Osborne, both Adventure Time veterans, oversaw the process, guiding a story intended to make sense only once all three independently developed pieces merge on screen.
