Hi friends. I have decided to make a sideblog specifically for math because right now I kind of feel bad posting non-math things on this blog. The blog in question is @cohomoillogical.

I’m very confused about people acting as if the ending of digital circus was super crazy or whatever. Like yes, the show about finding meaning in a meaningless world ended with the characters finding meaning in a meaningless world.
I’m 99% sure Ribbit clocked her shit
here’s this while i’m still processing the movie
The 4 genders
staring at the dessert menu and twirling my hair and going "should I be baaaaddd" until the autistic girl I'm eating with says "there is nothing bad about eating dessert. it is a morally neutral action"
"if Jax is a trans woman she's still an abuser so she's bad representation so the show is transphobic" you're an idiot. you want your blorbos to be perfect ideal angels, I want my blorbos to be realistic, nuanced, flawed human beings, we are not the same. I LIKE that she's messy and fucked up and problematic, I think it's a realistic depiction of how a lot of repressed and traumatized trans women are. I think the show goes to great lengths to explore how and why she is the way she is, and to evoke sympathy for this kind of person. it doesn't excuse her actions but it does make them understandable. and I think the fact women like that deserve sympathy is an idea worth stating and worth shouting. yes she's a bully and she hurt everyone around her and that may never change. she still deserves sympathy.

I love this mean bitch
Someone asked me out today. I said no and I don’t really know why.
The trans girl in question is emotionally and physically abusive to people who are kind or just minding their business, is presented as a cis man pretty consistently until the last second, and drove someone to suicide because they showed compassion and understanding.
I feel like I shouldn't dignify this with a response and maybe just insult your intelligence. Yeah, Jax, not a great guy, really hit the nail on the head there buddy. Also if you really think Jax is "presented as a cis man pretty consistently until the last second" I have to question if we watched the same show. Sincerely though what do you think the appropriate way to view Jax is? Like yeah he's a bad guy but:
a. He is a fictional character who is clearly meant to be representative of some part of people. Maybe he's a cautionary tale on what rejecting others can lead to. Maybe he's a hyperbolic version of a pretransition self.
b. If he was a real person, what should be done with him? Clearly you view him as a monster, and I won't disagree that he is very flawed, but like. Do you think he deserves to kill himself for it? If someone does awful, terrible things while in a bad emotional state are they forever beyond redemption? What if you do someone harm, maybe even on purpose, while your in pain? Should we all kill you then?
Funnybunny. Maybe you are. Personally I'm a seriouspuppy
lately i feel like the world is conspiring to put tragic characters in my vision that tell me the way i feel about myself is wrong
yeah sure these characters who feel like nothing and repeatedly lash out are still deserving of love or whatever. but not me
whatever
I'm nothingburger
(girl who refuses to admit anything is about her unless it's made explicit voice) it's really too bad no one ever vagueposts about me. i think i'd quite like if someone were to vaguepost about me. unfortunately, it never happens.
