Flux Capacitor APA

This was a really fun project to work on...A Back to the Future themed beer! 

I was tasked with creating a Back to the Future beer label, the idea being that the APA in cAPAcitor would highlight the style of beer(American Pale Ale.) Other than the name I had full creative freedom and I’m really happy with the end result.

There’s plans for a whole series with different styles of beer and themes from the movies  of these so I can’t wait to do more,

I’m getting married!

So, in just over 8 months time we’ll be tying the knot. 

Here’s the A6 Save The Date cards I designed, letterpress printed by Blush Publishing on Colourplan White Frost 540gsm. They were kind enough to run a few extras on the kraft paper as we are thinking of using that for the invites. Gives us something to think about, the White Frost looks classy yet the kraft provides a nice rustic feel.

Anyway, I’d highly recommend Blush - they service was great and the quality of the print is fantastic! 

Once all the invites are printed, I’ll get some better shots of the full set and post them up.

Spent the past week relaxing in Cornwall, such an amazing part of the country. Visited St Ives, Newquay, Falmouth, Padstow and St Michaels Mount whilst we were down there but the highlight had to be Lizard Point and Kynance Cove. Need to go back soon and try out surfing!

Visited The KAWS exhibition at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park today, feel so lucky to have this practically on our doorstep, it’s amazing.

World Cup

Updates have been lacking a bit recently, mostly because I've been spending a lot of my free time watching the World Cup which so far has been one of the best football tournaments I've watched.

Can't wait for the England game tonight - I'm backing Rooney to respond to all the unnecessary criticism he's been getting leading up to this game.
