Im surprised with how many DC multiverse comics exist, we dont get many examples of a villain meeting themself from another Earth. Meeting your doppelganger seems to be entirely something for Heroes.

The only example I can think of is Lex meeting Alex during Infinite Crisis and their little rivalry is fun.

Like we had a whole arc in Batman where he meets different versions of himself due to a guy trying to do some weird Joker-based multiverse crap yet those different versions of the Joker never meet?

If Im missing a time this happened please lemme know because it looks like there's some untapped potential.

I wanted to redraw that one scene from Lego DC Supervillains.

I adored the way that game showed the villains interacting and having a fun dynamic :]

People who are always talking about Pattinson's Batman being in the DCU forget one thing.

Its not just about how well Pattinson's Batman and Corenswet's Superman would interact. We must factor in the side characters too!

How would Keoghan's Joker interact with Holt's Lex? Could you see Dano's Riddler joining the Legion of Doom?

Theres potential for some fun characters dynamics that this discussion is ignoring and I would LOVE to talk about it!

I heard somewhere that Court of Owls was originally intended to be a Dick Grayson as Batman story but Snyder had to pivot because of the reboot.

I'm not sure if thats true but imagine that version of the story.

Dick is Batman and he discovers this shadowy group that has been controlling Gotham since its founding and Bruce didn't even know they EXISTED let alone knew how to stop them.

Not only that, but one of their assassins is his grandfather and he was actually meant to be their assassin too before Bruce stepped in.

ALSO one of them claims to be Bruce's brother and the technical true heir to the Wayne fortune.

That would've been really troubling for Dick and equally as cool to see him overcome. Especially alongside Damian.

Of course, the story we got was really good. Arguably the best Batman story post 2010 but I can't help but imagine what an alternate DickBat version of it would've been like.

Its really popular in the fandom scene but tmk has never happened in any comic or adaptation.

My only criticism of the finale is there's like zero focus on the actual main characters.

What does Steve do now that his banishment is over?

What does the Bigtop crew decide to do?

I almost respect the restraint. There's like a faith that the audience will still get closure assuming they'll be alright without actually seeing it. Very opened ended.

I just wish there was something yk? Maybe in the compilation we'll get something.

If you had to swap the roles of any thunderstruck characters what would they be?

I can’t think of two specific characters but this ask just made me think about how different the comic would be if the three antagonist groups were switched. The responders, M’s group, and Raiden’s gang all swap roles in the story.

M’s directs a group of government heroes. Daryle runs the mob. Raiden leads a group of terrorists.

The whole group switches so Sai is in the mob and Nim is currently a Responder.

That could be a pretty interesting AU

Any Thunderstruck Headcanons you wouldnt mind sharing?

Not really, but after some thought, I came up with a few.

Zaya watches trash reality TV and horror movies to feel smarter than the characters

Nim smells like lavender and cat fur

M has a creepy mask collection like Norman Osborne in the first Spider-Man movie

With all this talk about Thunderstruck recently, I should reread it soon! After I finish all of the other comics on my read list…

Seeing @apleye post art of Nim on their Insta is what got me interested in Thunderstruck. So I love Zaya, Raiden and M, but Nim holds a special place in my heart for having the best design ever made and being a perfect character.

I have this headcanon about The Riddler. The reason his hair color is inconsistent throughout the years is because HE DYES IT.

I know its actually due to different continuities but think of how much funnier it is that hes dying his hair before every scheme.
