He was an activist who inspired millions to fight for their rights. He knew what was wrong with our country and risked his life to help his people achieve equality. Â In the society where black were treated like animal he did everything possible to change this. His brave soul, his will and courage changed the history of America , changed the people. He made us believe we can win this war. He payed for it with his life. He will always be remembered.
Respecting his memory also means acknowledging that his fight is far from over, black people are facing the same issues that ha birth to the Black Panthers, and that the FBI is basically trying to launch COINTELPRO 2.0 against BLM and other black activists. Hampton should be more than a history lesson, he should be a rallying point.
Remnants of the British Black Pantherâs Lost Legacy
Britainâs black power movement is at risk of being forgotten, say historians
The Cambridge academic Robin Bunce said: âThere is a fundamental danger of erasing the very notion of a struggle at all. Iâve been researching this for four and a half years and there have been so many occasions when people have said to me: âThere was no black struggle in Britain. Youâre thinking of South Africa or America.ââ
The narrative that feeds it is the one that Britain is the utopia of fair play. We have such a commitment to individual rights, we have such a commitment to common sense and decency that there is no systematic racism in Britain.ââŠ
Bunce said it was not just politicians, but wider British society that would rather not dwell on the less palatable.
Bringing this one back, while Iâm reminded.
this ^^^ plus in schools we are taught about American racial inequality and civil rights movements not British ones.
Iâm begging you to look at this.
Youâd think that would go without saying, but thatâs government for you.
This is so fucking disgusting
This is tantamount to a cop asking you to rob a store with him, carrying out the robbery together and then him going: âsurprise, youâre under arrestâ. But ya know, on a way more scummy level đĄ
important!
I havenât seen this on here so I thought I might share:
Imagine an Internet where the law required every message sent to be read by government-approved scanning software. Companies that handle suc
The Honorable Lindsey Graham
There isnât a petition for this yet (as far as I know) but sign the #JunkTerrorBillNow petition
Contacting your reps directly will do literally so much more than signing a petition, and it really doesn't take that much longer.
If you actually click on that first article there and scroll down there's the option to have them send an email as you to your representatives! No need for petitions no politician will ever see
You can also use ResistBot! This is literally why it exists.
this is the text EFF recommends in case youâre using resistbot and not sure what to say:
As your constituent, I urge you to reject the EARN IT Act (S. 3398).
The Graham-Blumenthal bill would give the Attorney General far too much power to dictate how Internet companies must operate. Attorney General William Barr has made it clear that he would use that authority to undermine our right to private and secure communications by blocking encryption.
The bill would create a commission tasked with creating âbest practicesâ for owners of Internet platforms to âprevent, reduce, and respondâ to child exploitation online. But far from mere recommendations, those âbest practicesâ would be approved by Congress as legal requirements. The EARN IT Actâs structure would let Barr strong-arm the commission to include requirements that tech companies weaken their own encryption systems in order to give law enforcement access to our private communications. Companies could also be required to over-censor speech to comply with the governmentâs demands, or to bend to future governmentsâ political agendas in other ways.
Regulations relating to restrictions on speech must reflect a careful balance of competing policy goals and protections for civil liberties. Congress can only strike that balance through an open, transparent lawmaking process. It would be deeply irresponsible for Congress to offload that duty to an unelected commission, and especially not a commission controlled by unelected government officials.
Please publicly oppose the EARN IT Act.
Oh my God! đ You dropped this queen đ
To think I thought I knew what ethereal beauty was before now. Laughable.
sheâs so beautiful i had to include a few more photos
Thatâs a huge story but must be shared! helpful sister!
I hope he wins the lawsuit, a police officer was finally doing the right thing and they penalize him for not being a racist monster!
his name is stephen mader and not only did he refuse to shoot, he actively wanted to help the man (ronald ârjâ williams) because he could tell that he was only acting out because of mental illness. rj williams was suicidal and holding an unloaded gun and, while mader didnât shoot him, a fellow officer (ryan kuzma) did and murdered him on the spot. here is the source and hereâs to hoping rj williams gets justice
âSaying the words âJust shoot meâ sent up the red flag that he was just trying to harm himself and no one else ⊠Thatâs what made me make my decision. He needed helpâ I hate this fucking world. The guy was actually trying to do his job by actually desculating the situation the right way (desculating these days apparently just means shoot them) and was fired for âfailing to eliminate a threat.â
HE WON THE LAWSUIT AND GOT $175,000
I read this whole story. It is wild !! The conversations between him and his ex coworkers about what went down that day đ§đ¶
Listen to it all here:
A shocking story of police and lethal force. Just not the one you might expect.
when I say there are no good cops, this is part of the reason why.
âgood copsâ lose their jobs for doing the right thing.
âgood copsâ die mysteriously after whistleblowing.
âgood copsâ are forced to choose between their livelihood and becoming just like the rest.
Video shows Maryland cops REPEATEDLY pepper spray 15-year-old honor roll student.
5 ft 105 lbs girl, whose name has not been officially released yet, was brutalized by Hagerstown police after she on her bike was hit by a car, but refused medical assistance.Â
Her familyâs attorney says that when police arrived, they grabbed the little girl, lifted her hands above her head and slammed her face into a wall.
âThey slammed her against a wall, arrested her for refusing treatment, maced her 4 times in the police car while handcuffed, and took her to the police station instead of the hospital.â
She was put in the car, which is when a bystander began filming the incident. The video shows the 15-year-old with her hands handcuffed behind her back kicking at the police car door and later a cop is heard saying:Â âPut your feet in, or youâre going to get sprayed!â Officer proceeds to pepper spray her a few times.Â
The girl can be heard screaming:Â âI canât breathe!â
The girl was only taken to hospital when she was released to her parents.Â
Three hours after being pepper sprayed she was finally able to wash her eyes.
She is now charged with disorderly conduct, two counts of second-degree assault, possession of marijuana and failure to obey a traffic device.

This is torture. They tortured her for fucking fun.
just keep in mind they took Dylan Roof into custody wearing a bullet proof vest to protect him from anyone that may try to kill him THEN they bought him Burger King to eat after the arrest.Â
But this is how they treat an innocent child.
