man, The Character really strikes me as someone who would struggle with Same Problems I Have, for no apparent reason
"you should be at the club" I should be working on my fanfic
I like this witch cat finding game, very cute. However I think it would be improved if it was instead about a detective with a severe substance addiction who is supposed to somehow solve a murder
Insane when you're bursting with every emotion known to the human brain and yet you still gotta go to work cause it's a random ass tuesday
everyday I pray Zillow makes a comment section
it would be the most fun gay people have had since the golden age of disco
Visceral is EASILY top ten words that feel good as fuck to place precisely into your essay one glorious time
at a conference I attended recently, a researcher pointed to the difficulty of finding material in archives because so much depends on the metadata and the terminology used to describe things changes over time. "it would be so helpful," the researcher said, "if I typed 'lesbian' into the library of congress database, it would also show me results that were categorised in the 50s, when the materials were interpreted as 'intimate female friendships'"
which is what tag wrangles at Archive Of Our Own do incredibly effectively: searching for "omegaverse" also leads to "alpha/beta/omega dynamics" and "alternate universe: a/b/o" and so on. but ao3 achieves this frankly incredible categorisation and indexing system by the power of countless volunteers putting in hours and hours of unpaid and unthanked free time, and it's completely understandable that most archives do not have that kind of infrastructure, but also how incredible that a fan-run website has better searchability, classification, and accessibility than the library of congress
I just came up with a really inconvenient, possibly unplayable four-player game: The Evil Advisor
All you need is a completely normal chess board and a deck of cards that you can somehow divide into an even amount of cards that mean "yes" or "no". Out of the four players, only two need to know how to play chess - those play the role of advisor. The other two play as rulers. At the start of the game, both advisors pull a random card from the deck, which dictates whether their goal is to win the game, or lose it. They keep their respective card, showing it to nobody else.
The rulers, who ultimately choose where to move the pieces, always aim to win the chess game, and also know that the advisor may or may not be on their side, and don't know whether to trust the advisor or not.
If the ruler wins the chess game, they win the whole game. An advisor only wins if they reach their own goal - if an advisor's goal was to lose, but the ruler wins, the advisor loses, and vice versa.
When I (M29) was a young boy (M7) my father (M35) took me into the city (X167) to see a marching band (M23, M21, M22, F22, M24, M25, F21, M
He said “Son (M7) when you grow up (F33) would you be — wait what”
I assure you: somebody, somewhere, is on the exact same wavelength as you are.

hate how almost every portrayal of a lesbian on mainstream tv is like literally just a straight woman who dates women. the writers clearly don’t care to take Any considerations into lesbian/lgbt culture or what our lives/dating is rly like. like even apart from them all being pretty feminine conventionally attractive white women in their thirties, they are literally always the straightest women you could possibly imagine. what’s the opposite of dykery. The utter dykelessness of these women
Can someone pls reply w that comic of the women watching TV that makes sense here, I can’t find it
