Intimacy

Intimacy to me is something that, stretches far beyond visual– stretches far beyond physical.

Intimacy is your hand in mine, Intimacy is letting you see into my mind. Intimacy is giving you my time, Intimacy is asking, “Are you doing fine?”

Intimacy isn’t only an intimate act. It’s in the way chemicals inside of me react, when we simply make eye contact.

Intimacy is wanting to make you smile, when it seems you are down. It’s wanting to make sure you know that in hard times, I will be your safety net, so you don’t drown.

Intimacy is seeing you fully clothed, yet still believing you are exceptionally beautiful. Do not argue with that statement above because it is indisputable.

So as I conclude, intimacy to me— stretches far beyond seeing you in the raw. With or without clothes you still leave me in awe.
