It’s just stephanie browns very nature is so very incredibly stubborn that’s like Her Thing. And her other thing (to me) is unbeatable cycles, patterns she can’t stop herself from repeating, ideas and concepts of the world and herself and other people that she cannot let go of. You put her ass in a time loop contingent on her breaking her own personal patterns, or worse, on giving up on something she’s set herself to do? She’s not getting out!!! She’s just not!! And if she does get out anyway, if she does succeed somehow, it’s fundamentally shattering and changing etc. I get that fundamentally that’s All time loops and time loop stories. But you see it’s actually more special bc it involves stephanie brown.

LUVO!! YOURE SO REAL AND TRUE.. was def thinking stephbin era as well… it’s so natural bc that it in of itself is an ill devised repetition stephanie brown is allowing despite her better judgement,. I had a game concept a bit ago pertaining to this idea, like trying to get through a night as stephbin without getting SACKED, and every time it repeats you think ‘well this time I know not to snoop that corner of the cave / this time I know not to say that particular joke to Batman / this time I know how to navigate this conversation. I got it now’ except you don’t and you can’t!!! Bc she didn’t and also she could not have!!! You can’t win!!! A lot of terrible stuff could be done.

Having thoughts about how id pull off this game. Should a girl dream big regardless of her unwillingness to even try to learn a game engine and over-reliance on messy + rudimentary python..

Pygame maybe? It isnt a totally complete game engine, just a library for Python, but it should work unless you plan to do 3D AAA game or something. I dont know how difficult it is though because I havent gotten to learning it but it seems like just any other library or module or whatever it is that does things with graphics like idk matplotlib or tkinter or... Thats actually all I have experience with since I am a total beginner lol

I actually used Pygame for the last game I made and it turned out pretty solid for a first go!! That concept was a tad less ambitious than this one however so Im not sure if it’d serve me as well for this. But maybe I’m overthinking and it’d work just as well, idk. Thanks for the recommendation anyway!!

I really REALLY hate when in "incorrect batfam quotes" the whole punchline is that Steph is dumb silly blonde girl. Like some of them seem downright mean. I get its incorrect quotes, not 100% in-character etc. But you do not have to clown on a completely capable character for no damn good reason.

Guys, pre-boot at least because we all know there isnt that much after 52, she studied at college and did well enough with all Bs despite 1. Spending about a year faking her death and probably not having the best educational backround beforehand 2. Still being a vigilante and having a part-time job in library at the same time.

She seems to have an extensive knowledge when it comes to literature, drama, music and medicine. She managed to become a vigilantr on her own without having any superpowers as a 15-year-old. She never seemed less intelligent than Tim by any means (until N52 which made him an annoying super-genius, yes, I loathe N52 Tim), she even had more knowledge in certain domains than him. He was only condescending to her because he was in the know and had the training and support of Batman.

She is like the least person to be lazy in any way tbh She never gives up, if you say she cant do it, she WILL do it.

I am pretty sure her reading is more canonical than Jason reading but ok

Again just making seem Steph grossly incompetent. Please. I am pretty sure she can operate a coffee pot.

Also BONUS. Making her and Bruces relationship seem much better and paternal than it ever was. Another thing I totally hate. No way he would act like this.
