I've been using the same purse for like 10ish years and it's actually not in terrible shape because it's leather but the weight of it bothers me more than it used to and it is starting to show it's age so I decided to replace it with a lighter bag and in the end I got a small one and a bigger one-- for days when I want to take my knitting with me. The "big" one isn't really bigger than my leather purse but because it's nylon instead of leather it is still substantially lighter.
This cute dragon patch is from @moldspace and I'm fucking obsessed with it. It's so adorable. It also looks really good with the rainbow bag strap, it really ties things together. I had hoped the purple in the strap would tie it to the bag, but because I sewed the dragon patch on it manages to make the whole rainbow strap very harmonious.
I had meant to buy a the little bat patch and the dragon patch, and sew the bat patch to the purse but I accidentally got two dragon patches. The dragon patch was just because I fucking love green and pink and dragons but the plan was to save it for some other project. I didn't really imagine I would want these colors with the purple, but actually I like it?
I do still have the smaller purse so now the question is if I want to put the bat patch there or leave it more minimal...
