The USPS just changed how postmarks work - and it will affect MAIL-IN VOTING while hitting Americans with late fees on everything from tax payments to rent checks.
Starting in 2026, your postmark date won’t reflect when you actually mailed something anymore. Instead of stamping mail with the date you dropped it in a mailbox or handed it to a postal worker, USPS will now mark it with whenever their sorting machine gets around to processing it - potentially days later.
FYI - if you go inside the post office and hand it to the clerk, you can have them manually postmark it received that day. I know this does not help people who don't/can't drive, but it does let you still have more flexibility about the timing of your vote if you're scheduled to work on voting day or a person of color concerned about ICE agents or other intimidation tomfuckery at your polling place.

One of the greatest lies that recent American history has perpetuated is the idea that Rosa Parks was "just a tired Black woman who wanted to sit down on the bus" and not a motivated activist who trained with other civil rights luminaries and very intentionally got on that bus specifically to get arrested about it.
Can you think of a reason why they might not want you to know that the people staging sit-ins and getting arrested for sitting on the bus were trained and organized?

goodrx is the most well known one, but if i'm trying to find the cheapest price for a patient i compare it to scriptcycle, and use whichever is offering the best price. you just type in the medication (PLEASE make sure you're getting the right drug, dosage, and quantity) and your zip code and they will spit out some offers for you
some pharmacies may have their own discount card to compare to as well!
if you are getting a name brand medication, you can also look at the manufacturer's website to see if they offer any evouchers for you to use too
