Ughhhhhh I'm being paranoid

I've grown up always hearing the public at large denounce Nazis and I found that comforting but now I'm starting to realize they just think of them as another racist organization. They just equate it to the radical right...

I thought being from a Jewish household would be the last thing I'd be persecuted for, but I'm really starting to get scared... They never said it because they cared about Jews, and they'll really have no issues believing we're the instigators. Are we seriously still everyone's go-to scapegoat?

Absolutely devastating news from Australia that at least 11 people were killed in an antisemitic attack on a Hanukkah celebration in Sydney. One of those who was murdered, Alex Kleytman z”l, was a Holocaust survivor. His wife, also a Holocaust survivor, saw as he was shot. I cannot imagine the grief and pain she and many others are feeling.

My heart is with all the victims and their loved ones, as well as the broader Jewish community in Australia. May the memories of the victims be a blessing.

We deserve to be able to congregate and observe Jewish holidays without fear of violence, in Australia and globally.

I also want to commend the courage of Ahmed al Ahmed, a man who happened to be walking by when the shooting began and rushed to disarm one of the shooters, despite being unarmed himself. Ahmed is the owner of a fruit shop and a father of two. He was shot twice during his brave intervention and is now in the hospital. I am praying for his swift recovery and the recovery of all the others who were injured in this attack.

You can also find campaigns for victims’ families here, including Rabbi Eli Schlanger’s family, including his wife and five children, one of whom is a newborn. So far, it’s only reached 9% of its goal.

My heart goes out to the victims of this hate crime and their families, and to the jewish community around the world.

You are the problem. You are blaming the victims of a terrorist attack for their own murders.You are the reason this happened. Look at what you're saying. "These Jews weren't good people. These people were ZiOnIsTs¹. I don't feel bad about these genocidal fucks."

A ten year old child was murdered for being Jewish, you ghoul. She was celebrating a holiday with her family. She's not even buried yet and you're excusing her death.

You are directly contributing to hate crimes like this. You are encouraging people like these terrorists, because Jews celebrating our own holidays can't be good people. Because you don't believe children or Holocaust survivors can be good people. Because you don't believe good Jews exist.

You're comparing US to Nazis, the same people who want to wipe us out. Now either you understand what a Nazi is and you're using the comparison to be intentional hurtful (comparing a Holocaust survivor to a Nazi is a new low), or you genuinely don't know what Nazism is and you're using it as shorthand for "unspeakable evil". Frankly, I don't know which one is worse.

You will find any reason to excuse our murders. We can't be victims. We're not allowed to mourn. Instead we all have to be punished because of Israel. All Jews are definitely responsible for the war there, right? You're no different from Inquisitors who held all Jews guilty for killing Jesus, or Nazis who held Jews responsible for destroying Germany. And your evil rhetoric has the same lethal outcome.

You are evil, and you are to blame for antisemitic hate crimes. You are a bad person, and I don't want you to forget that. May all your teeth fall out except one to give you a toothache. I hope every time your mouth hurts, you think of me. I hope you remember how you excused and minimized mass murder. I hope you feel guilty, but you'd need a conscience for that.
