You know what i miss? Classic "got stuck in ___" fanfics. Ya know the character a and character b are running form something and hide in a convenient locker and the door locks them in and they have to wait to be saved while they are pressed close together. The whole "getting stuck in a small inconvenient place together. I need some x readers of that. I miss it.
My friend said this so credit to her but I think the most refreshing thing about Dungeon Crawler Carl is that it’s nice to read a book series about adults, for adults, where the adults act and communicate like adults, that is still humorous and fun to read.
I was recently reading a König x reader fanfic, it started out normal, right? König being possessive and shit, it mentioned that he was like in the 141 and I was like "ok yea sure" and continued to read. Reader is at like a Cafe or smthn and König is sitting with the "other three" of the 141 in the corner as he stares at reader and I was like "three?" And for a genuine moment I was like " oh maybe price isn't there cuz he is working or like at home with the missus" nope. It said ghost, soap, price, and könig were all th the table. I had completely forgot that people replace Gaz with König. And when I remembered I was disappointed. That said I'm really happy that the fics I read include Gaz that I forgot he was ever forgotten.

saw someone say that they don't read fics under 10k and had to laugh because more fool you, that is where all the bangers are. obviously I'm biased but truly nothing hits like a 1.5k fic with a lowercase title from some obscure poet where nothing actually happens and yet you emerge blinking with a completely new outlook on the character. infinitely rereadable. like a perfectly crafted pastry. I'm gobbling them up!
