its actually crazy how much local art events and other potentially interesting stuff i completely miss out on just because the orgs all post on instagram and facebook only. two standouts among the worst fucking platforms in the world with the most egregious ui and slop saturation, so dogshit that id be unable to use them regularly even if i wanted to. stop it you all. get on tumblr or something

there's a lot of people replying to this post expressing guilt at having to use these sites to promote events and, like, I think it's fine to use them? it's only an issue if you don't make your information practically accessible anywhere other than that, since that's like saying that people who don't have instagram or facebook accounts aren't welcome. somehow though that seems to have become just as common as providing a public option

I can't readily identify the yellow one with the heraldic-looking border between Peru and Antarctica but it could well be the Royal Banner of Scotland or some variant of the Walloon flag from Belgium. Either answer raises merely more questions

huge fan of the depth of a good purple but another area that draws me is definitely around aquamarine/turquoise/seafoam. you can not go wrong once the green starts getting just a tinge more blue. a gal could certainly do worse than to pull over there and stay a while
