so much of the horror genre is informed by the metaphor of queer/transness as monstrousness. especially emphasizing the amount of horror that depends on the audience's repulsion at seeing a human body changing into a new, other body. I Saw the TV Glow is about the horror of NOT transitioning. the horror of static. the horror of looking into yourself and being terrified of what you see. the horror of seeing who you are and choosing to do nothing about it. the horror of looking away. and by god is it terrifying.
If you think hrt won't ever do anything for you and you'll always be seen as a man then there's no harm in taking it. You may as well take it. Keep taking it forever. Nobody is ever even gonna notice.
I'll notice though. I'll slide my hand up your hoodie and tell you how soft your skin has gotten and how nice you smell. Come on. Do it for me. Be my good little boy moder. I'll frot with you. With lots of lube. Honestly even more lube than you're imagining. It's gonna get sloppy. We should put a towel down.
You can make a movie with where the only white character is a man named Ray Cism whose one line of his 16 seconds of screen time is “I seriously hate women and minorities.” and you’ll find fifty bajillion reader x Ray Cism fanfics and renaissance style drawings of him with a halo of golden light
Trans Women have trans female socialization. our experiences are unique and specific to being a trans girl, even pre-HRT/coming out. This is fundamentally different than male socialization that cis men are raised into.
Like people really misunderstand the stressful impact pre-HRT trans girl kids experience in a transmisogynistic world that insists on beating transfeminity out of us in any way possible and as young as possible. trans girl socialization is one filled with experiencing abuse, trauma & shame.
And then people wonder why some of us radical trans women want to abolish coercive assigned sex at birth 🤪
"the trans label isn't a shield against criticism!" yeah no it really isn't. sometimes i wish it was. sometimes i wish someone found out that the person they're being baited into hating is transfem and it makes them go "oh, wait, i might be being lied to and i might have biases that they're trying to take advantage of that i need to work on"
i came out as trans and a terf pizzagater started posting about me on kiwifarms
I'm not experienced enough to speak authoritatively of this, but I feel like if you're doing RACK stuff that's potentially harmful either physically or emotionally, both domme and sub alike should have people in their lives besides each other that they can talk to about it instead of just each other. People whom they can both trust to take it with the nuance and understanding it deserves, and to not treat it like an inherent reason to dissolve the relationship or spread information about it around. Like, if something bad happens, it's probably gonna fuck *both of you* up. and you might not have the capacity to be fully emotionally available to support each other through that right away. and having outside people to go to who you can trust to say "oof, i'm sorry that happened, I know you knew the risks but it still definitely sucks when things go sideways. let's get you healing up a bit so you can discuss it with each other safely and figure out how to move forward." seems kinda important. It feels like an important part of addressing those risks.
can't stop dreaming about a pretty bunny using me as their personal teddy bear, wrapping themselves around me, rutting against my bulge, and I can't help but run my hands down their back and grab their ass, reminding them they don't need to think with me, they just need to feel good
are people talking about the labor conditions at Taylor Farms yet? like the fact they use enslaved prisoners in their facilities?
are we drawing the connection between worker safety and consumer safety & public health yet?
are people demanding to see the conditions in this place that keeps making us sick? why are the enslaved workers not having the time to use the bathroom or to rest when ill? very few people would shit in front of their coworkers given any choice at all.
On the prisoners point:
In a sweeping two-year investigation, The Associated Press found goods linked to prisoners wind up in the supply chains of everything from F
More on the health point:
"US Department of Labor proposes more than $1M fine following worker fatality at New Jersey vegetable processing facility"

jfc tennis just mandated that every player on the wta tour has to undergo genetic sex testing. that's like. thousands of players.
Following cultural tides, the women's tennis tour is mandating a strict new eligibility requirement.
tennis has anyways been the women's sport with the most mainstream cultural cachet, its also the home of some of the most regressive and visible sexism re:skirt mandates for female players that existed till 2019 before serena williams dared them to fine her for wearing a catsuit. the other thing is that martina navratilova is a massive terf.
we're going from the "gender challenges" and restrictions on testosterone levels to straight up gene tests, following the lead of the ioc.
Hey. Why isn’t the moon landing a national holiday in the US. Isn’t that fucked up? Does anyone else think that’s absurd?
It was a huge milestone of scientific and technological advancement. (Plus, at the time, politically significant). Humanity went to space! We set foot on a celestial body that was not earth for the first time in human history! That’s a big deal! I’ve never thought about it before but now that I have, it’s ridiculous to me that that’s not part of our everyday lives and the public consciousness anymore. Why don’t we have a public holiday and a family barbecue about it. Why have I never seen the original broadcast of the moon landing? It should be all over the news every year!
It’s July 20th. That’s the day of the moon landing. Next year is going to be the 54th anniversary. I’m ordering astronaut shaped cookie cutters on Etsy and I’m going to have a goddamn potluck. You’re all invited.
Hey. Hey. Tumblr. Ides of March ppl. We can do this
Hell yeah moon holiday
Ooh coming up we should celebrate
PITCH: We call it Moon Day, and then every 7 years when it falls on a Monday, that's an even BIGGER deal and we call that Moon Day Monday and go absolutely apeshit about it (the next Moon Day Monday is in 2026 so we have a couple trial runs first)
MOON DAY MOON DAY MOON DAY
moon day is 20th July!!!
Scheduling this a day earlier to remind you all and myself about the Moon Day tomorow!
Happy moon day to all who celebrate
This is your reminder to prep for Moon Day on July 20th.
OH HEY, THATS TOMORROW
