The post with the free PDF of Stone Butch Blues is circulating again, and I've failed to see anyone mention this, so: Yes, Leslie Feinberg is an LGBT+ icon and hir novel is an indispensable piece of history that has helped so many lesbians and transmascs understand the cultural context of their identities. I am not arguing against that. However, it contains at least seven or eight, more if I recall correctly, rape scenes and references to rape and sexual assault within the first like 100 pages alone, so if you're someone who's sensitive to that, this may not be a piece of media you can safely engage with.
The copy of Stone Butch Blues given to me by an elder ten or so years ago had all of the sexual assault scenes highlighted so that anyone reading it could either choose to skip it or at least have warning, so maybe we could do something like that for a PDF?
A follower of mine was able to go through and create a highlighted version!

I haven't been able to personally verify that every little thing is highlighted, so if something is missing, e-mail me at [email protected] and I can see about having it edited in!
Oh! Worth noting that instances of police brutality have also been highlighted, if that was a concern for you.
