Wolfoxjade17 cuz I wanted to make a really meaningful username. I love wolves and foxes, as of all members of the dog family. So put those two in a blender. Jade cause I wanted to add something to Wolfox and at that time I wanted to symbolise my favorte color, ranging from dark blue to pale green. So I first tried with BerylWolfox, but Jade comes in a pretty pale green, and I sounds better. 17 as there was another Redditor called "WolfoxJade" so I chose a random number. (FYI: 17 isn't my fav number, just the first one I thought of).

I will admit that my current username is not what it was when I originally joined, but that's a story for another time. I had account for a while but wasn't "active" on it. So around January/February I decided I was going to start blogging.
But I needed a better fitting name if my blog was going to mainly be about lab rats. So I picked my favorite character Marcus who's an Android. But I didn't really want to go by Marcus, so I looked up the name meaning and it was "dedicated to Mars". So I kinda just went with the name Mars and it stuck. I use it as my online name a lot know.
I feel the Android part is kinda obvious since my favorite character was an Android. The number at the end has meaning as well. It's my lucky/favorite number. Why? Because it seems to be an unlucky number for a lot of people, yet it seems to bring me luck anytime I use or pick it.

Okay this is a bit random but originally I was rain_cloudsx on Instagram because I think I wanted to make some sort of music related account (like doing keyboard covers idk) and I liked the vibes of Adele’s Set Fire to the Rain song; hence wanting something weather related I guess? Then before I actually posted anything, Covid happened, and it was a glee fan account for like 3 months, and then I created my ao3 with the same name. Came to tumblr way later, so just kept the name for continuity.

Thinking that despite the whole flight situation they've got going on, I think Kaz would totally love a Ghost Rider esque motorcycle because. Why not. He'd take care of it himself and even just use it when he wants a break from the whole powers thing, cause it's probably exhausting after a lot of time.
Oliver thinks it's a safety hazard and doesn't understand why Kaz keeps it around in the first place, but he's gone on rides with Kaz before and kinda yelps before squeezing Kaz like his life depends on it, and Kaz loves every second of it
if they were doing a prank war again, i feel like oliver would learn to ride a motorcycle (and of course, get a license, because its illegal not to have one and drive), and one day he just shows up on a motorcycle (hes absolutely scared for his life) and kaz is just terrefied because oliver is riding a motorcycle.

Okay so first, the obvious — Kaz is a fire bender (but one of the good guys, obvi), Oliver is a water bender, and Skylar one of (if not the last) air bender (and maybe avatar??).
Ideally Adam, Bree, and Chase would all be the same but idk. Bree gives me air bender vibes more than anything else, but Chase gives me earth vibes for some reason (maybe bc Matt and Pidge holt are very earth bender coded to me and Chase is also a genius). Chase could work for water or fire as well, but I’d rather he be air or earth. Adam meanwhile would be fire or earth, but if I wanted all the siblings to be air, I’d struggle with Adam.
Horace would be water (bc of healing), and Alan would be earth(?).
Normos can’t bend.
Oh and Leo would be fire???

I wanna see oliver realise who he became. I want to see him be disgusted with himself, because i just KNOW his mother raised him to respect women. And his teammates cant pull the "i know your mother raised you better than this" because his mother is evil and thats all they know her has. All of them (but kaz) probably think that his mom raised him horribly and thats why he's like this. Because honestly, chase and bree only know him as "creepy oliver" and not as anything else, they just think thats how he is.

At the bolded, that’s not my intention. Your last sentences are what I really want in terms of giving Black people humanity. We are always supposed to be “hard,” both Black men and women. There is a level of condescension that comes with infantilization. One can treat me as a delicate individual without acting as if I can’t do anything for myself.

But I don’t imagine we should idealize/foster female delicacy, or delicacy as a female trait, right? And I don’t think initialization necessarily means condescending. I don’t think I normally use a condescending tone with small children or young adults. I think of them all as my equals. Even babies. Just people like you and me… who just happen to not know how to do anything beside cry and writhe.
My issue is the fact that Black women are denied femininity PERIOD, and thus my post may come off as gender essentialist in some ways.
Because delicacy is denied to me as a black woman, it should be fostered in a healthy manner that does not hinder my functioning as a decent human being.

Aside from arguably the word ‘fragile’ there’s not a goddamned word on that list that indicates a lack of strength or personal conviction. There’s nothing infantilizing there - unless you’ve already bought into the belief that femininity is inherently infantile.
And Fragile? Know what fragile in this sense indicates? WORTH OF CARE AND PROTECTION. If you think that something that’s fragile can’t also be strong, or that even if it isn’t also strong that it’s not worthy of respect, you are a horrible human being.
What the OP wants is access to the same variety of available identities and social attitudes that white women have access too.
