My mother is editing an academic volume about the MCU so now she must watch all of the MCU
who would like to vicariously take part in this journey of watching a 60y/o Trekkie discover the marvel movies and shows and progressively get worse?
Welcome to the ride! The facts are these:
My mother has had limited contact with the MCU until now. I was briefly super obsessed in high school before reverting to my comic books. My little brother is a bit of a movie buff. And of course, cultural osmosis. But she's... pretty oblivious.
The academic volume will contain essays and papers relating the MCU to various areas of interest within the academic field of religion. It's scheduled to be released later 2026, at this point. I'll keep everyone posted.
