gentle evolution: a slower, softer approach to self-improvement 🕊️
(that actually works and feels peaceful)
view your growth as a process of refinement and becoming more yourself in the present, rather than chasing a future self.
learn the difference between self-discipline and self-punishment.
recognise that not everything needs to be optimised, some things are beautiful simply because they bring you joy.
allow space for evolution without feeling the need to perform transformation for others.
honour your natural rhythms—some seasons are for expansion, others for stillness. trust the cycle rather than forcing progress.
depth matters more than speed; lasting change cannot be rushed.
curate the advice and approaches that work for you, don't just mindlessly follow everything.
sometimes there is no dramatic before and after, remember that subtle shifts can be just as powerful.
life isn’t just about efficiency. you are allowed to value joy, beauty, and presence too.
ultimately, taking action is what matters. consuming too much information but not making changes in real life causes more anxiety. do stuff.
The more I exercise, the more I like it 💕

show, don't tell:
anticipation - bouncing legs - darting eyes - breathing deeply - useless / mindless tasks - eyes on the clock - checking and re-checking
frustration - grumbling - heavy footsteps - hot flush - narrowed eyes - pointing fingers - pacing / stomping
sadness - eyes filling up with tears - blinking quickly - hiccuped breaths - face turned away - red / burning cheeks - short sentences with gulps
happiness - smiling / cheeks hurting - animated - chest hurts from laughing - rapid movements - eye contact - quick speaking
boredom - complaining - sighing - grumbling - pacing - leg bouncing - picking at nails
fear - quick heartbeat - shaking / clammy hands - pinching self - tuck away - closing eyes - clenched hands
disappointment - no eye contact - hard swallow - clenched hands - tears, occasionally - mhm-hmm
tiredness - spacing out - eyes closing - nodding head absently - long sighs - no eye contact - grim smile
confidence - prolonged eye contact - appreciates instead of apologizing - active listening - shoulders back - micro reactions

A tip for my writers
A story won't be good without good characters. So I'm begging you, to write 3D characters. Give them quirks that aren't "I'm so clumsy🤪" or "I don't fit in". Give them physical flaws, give them moral beliefs and personality traits that tie back to their trauma and/or backstory. Give your characters life, an inner world, a story, instead of being passive, blank cardboard cutouts with cliche traits. Don't make them an archetype, make them an individual. There is literally nothing more annoying than seeing a great plot with flat, dead, boring characters! So please, think of them as people, explore their qualities and make them full, well developed characters, even villains.
