So with the news of Ray leaving Rooster Teeth I had to take a step back from my RP blogs to come on here. Yes, I am devastated. Yes, I did cry my eyes out. Yes, I still cannot believe it is real. Out of everyone in AH/RT I am surprised that it’s Ray departing ways. I’m however extremely excited for his Twtich Streams from now on, but it doesn’t remove the fact for me that watching Let’s Plays wont be difficult.

I watched the Journey let’s play a few weeks ago. To say what Ray was saying about his progress from video editing and how he makes his own videos; well to say it was inspiring didn’t do enough credit. Knowing that in just a short amount of time he is doing one of the things I dreamed of, it gave the hope that one day I could do that. That I could make Let’s Plays that everyone enjoyed. That I could do the things he did. To say that Ray inspired me a lot isn’t enough.

Not only did he give me inspiration, he also was the one I laughed at most. I will DEFINITELY miss his landscaping jokes and “scoota patrol”. I feel as if the videos will not be the same without Ray. And they aren’t supposed to. Ray was a member of the RT family as much as we all are.

For a while because actually how upset I am, I might not be able to watch RT/AH for a while. But please, we are all grown ups in this situation. If people cannot watch their videos for a while, do not give them hate. Do not go to Ray and Tina and start giving them hate. In the end, this is the best choice for Ray that was probably extremely difficult to make.

We have not seen the last of Ray, and we all know that. This isn’t so much as “good bye” as a “see you later”
