Fanfiction. You wrote fanfiction. Just say you wrote fanfiction, because that is what you did. No matter how well though out it is, how many plot holes you covered, how much better than the original you think your work is, you did fanfiction.
There is nothing wrong with that. Just own that you wrote fanfiction and stop with the nonsense of whatever you wrote being on a different, superior category than "just" fanfiction.

Jonathan Joss was an Indigenous, gay man who was murdered on the first day of Pride month as well as Indigenous History Month. He died protecting his trans husband. Homophobia and racism arenāt marks of the past, and this is a heart breaking reminder of that.
Praying for a safe journey back to the spirit world, Uncle ā¤ļøāš©¹š¦
Today is the anniversary of the death of Jonathan Joss (King of the Hill, Parks and Rec). Jonathan Joss was an Indigenous, gay man who died protecting his transgender husband, on the first day of Pride month. Today we remember him and how he protected his family.
chat i don't think they know that post was about my bottom surgery
This was me, actually. I did not know it was about your bottom surgery. But I saw the original post while recovering from my bottom surgery, so I guess we're even.

Moroccan architecture (specifically, amazigh from Chefchaouen)
Post-colonial Algerian architecture (Algiers and Constantine):
Mozabite architecture (from Ghardaia, Algeria):
i get that americans love their cultural imperialism, but it really does piss me off that june is āinternationalā pride month just because something happened in the united states.
in aotearoa, june isnāt our pride, itās theirs. marsha p johnson and sylvia rivera are their historical figures, not ours. the phrase that āyou owe your rights to Black trans womenā is true there, but here we owe our rights to (mostly) MÄori historical figures. i have the freedoms i do because of the legacy of an entirely different set of people operating in an entirely different context at entirely different times.
But because of american cultural imperialism, most queer people in Aotearoa donāt even know our own queer history. Carmen Rupe, Ngahuia Te Awekotuku, the Dorian Society, Gillian Laundon, Georgina Beyer, and the Wolfenden Association are some of our queer history. We should know their names! we should know what they did for us! but because of the power of the american imperial machine, we donāt.
our national pride month should be july, the month that the Homosexual Law Reform Act passed in 1986. our two largest cities hold their pride festivals in february and march, respectively. american queer history has very little (or nothing, depending on who you ask) to do with our queer history. anecdotally, from my own queries, queer youth in aotearoa know more about american queer history than our own.
anyway, happy pride, americans. iām truly sorry that most of you donāt see the negative impact your nationās culture has on the rest of the world. and to the rest of the world reading this, try searching for your own country and cultureās queer history, donāt accept the american narratives as your own. we deserve our own histories divorced from the cultural hegemony of the USA.
More people should get into poly shipping. Both because polyamory is awesome and because it's really fun to make complicated ass diagrams
Israel's attacks have been relentless since the eve of Eid al-Adha on Tuesday, May 26. Just yesterday the head of anesthesia at Al-Yafa Medical Hospital was killed in an attack that injured three others. Over 50% of hospitals in Gaza are nonfunctional. Even when Palestinians survive attacks, treatment is limited and medical bills are expensive.
This targeting of healthcare workers and infrastructure is the reason my friend Fadel needs to raise funds for medical evacuation to a hospital outside of Gaza to surgically remove shrapnel that embedded in his body during the Israeli airstrike that destroyed his home while he was inside.
Fadel (@fadel-dani) is currently struggling to afford his hospital bills. He is being treated for severe anemia and malnutrition as a result of long term food insecurity and being unable to afford his monthly medication to treat his blood disorder. He suffers from frequent fainting and collapses unconscious, leaving his family terrified that he has died from starvation. Please help him.
My friends ,You are our last hope. If you leave us now, we will not survive. Please stand by us before it is too late, Please don't ignore what we're going through.
Please don't stop, please don't stop. Your Help help me a lot. The medication is very expensive, and my condition is very serious. Please stand by me now now, please.
Last Thursday, there was heavy rain in Gaza. Israelis bombed a residential block very near to where Mahrah and her parents are sheltered. Panic gripped her family.
Her brother Mahmoud posted about this on tumblr from the account they share, and then staff immediately banned their blog as part of a broader racist campaign against Palestinians.
Mahrah and Mahmoud are now using the blog @palestinian95. Please donate if you can afford to do so, and share this post to help them to reconnect with their followers!
