At Long Last...

Operation: Olympian is here! Eight (EIGHT!!!) years ago, in 2017, shortly after my debut novel, L.O.S.T. and F.O.U.N.D. was published, I began work on its sequel, Operation: Olympian. Never in my wildest dreams did I think it would take so long, but here we are.

Operation: Olympian chronicles Mia Crane and her friends during their Winter Evaluation, an event that takes place every year, bringing together agents from all over the world to monitor their skills in a competitive fashion via a series of Trials, activities that can make or break your career as an agent.

Things seem standard enough, Mia figures, until agents start going missing. She knows she and her fellow agents must figure out what's going on--and who's responsible--before it's too late.

And yet, not all these friendly faces can be trusted......

Do you still have the trailer for L.O.S.T and F.O.U.N.D? I loved it when I was a teen and am devastated that it’s no longer on your account. 😭😭😭😭😭 where can I find it?? I’m having such a rough time in my first semester of college and it’s the only happy memory I have in high school ❤️

Oh my goodness, what a blast from the past 😭😭 it’s not on my YouTube anymore because a lot of the people who were in it aren’t my friends anymore but the fact that you remember it makes me so happy ❤️

It was on my old laptop and I have SOME of the files from it, but not all of them. I’ll look around for it, I promise. I’d totally be willing to email you the video if I can find it.

I know it’s not the same, but I’m including the link for one of the videos that IS still on my channel, which has clips (at the end of the video) from a YouTube series my friends and I were trying to produce before I went to film school. I think it has some of the same vibes and humor and I hope it could bring you a little happiness in these trying times ❤️

Anyway, best of luck to you with college. It’s rough, I know it is. I’m in my last year myself and it has been a long and hard four years, but I’m at the end of the tunnel now. I believe in you and you’ve got this!! It’s rough at first, it always is, but you’ll fall into a rhythm and it’ll all be okay.

It’s that time of year again!

Hey squad, Morgan here!

I just moved back into school and oh, also, I’m getting ready for another book release! 

You’ve probably heard a bit about it just from following me for the two-ish years I’ve been working on it, but it’s called Recensere: The Lost Queen, and I’m really excited to finally be sharing it with all of you! I’ve decided to answer some questions I get about it!

So what is Recensere about?

Recensere: The Lost Queen is about a girl named Arya who lives in the Mortal village of River’s End. She and all of the other Mortals were banished to the Borderlands, a place devoid of color, but all of this changes the day Arya’s eyes turn blue. Now, time is running out for her to find the way home. 

What does “Recensere” mean?

“Recensere” is a Latin word that means “to change”, or, alternatively, “To alter” or “to edit”. It’s the name of the magical kingdom that Arya resides in. 

When is the sequel to L.O.S.T. and F.O.U.N.D. coming?

I am making my first round of edits as we speak. It could possibly be on the way in the spring. I’ll let you know as things unfold. 

When is Recensere coming out?

The current release date is October 12th, 2019!

How many books are there going to be? 

The Lost Queen is the first book in the trilogy.

My WIP

Just a quick update on my writings:

I started a new book for NaNo, but I hated it, so…I started working on the sequel to L.O.S.T. and F.O.U.N.D. again and it’s going a LOT better. Things just started getting serious and things I’ve been planning for almost two years are finally unfolding. 

I’m so ready for you guys to read it. 

Speaking of: I might be looking for beta-readers after NaNo is over, so hit me up if you’re interested. (This includes a free copy of L and F so you know what’s going on if you don’t already have a copy.)

Anyway, here’s a sneak peek:

“You don’t have to say it if you don’t want to.” Jace puts one of his large hands on my shoulder.

I nod. I get it. I do. But they deserve to know this. “Orville told me he wasn’t the only one. He wasn’t the leader of L.O.S.T., he was just their face for a while. He told me if I killed him, I would just make him a martyr for his cause, that it would anger the others. I think that’s what’s happening now. This is some revenge ploy. Somehow, they infiltrated us and it’s only going to get worse.”
