God of Death holding the soul of Cya, protag of one of my story. Souls float in a kind of liquid and are kinda amorphous and sexless, bc I don’t want to put too much details on them. The afterlife is also quite humid.

The God of Death, caretaker of the souls and the tree. Can shapeshift and sometimes go to the world of the living.

Worldbuilding, wooh.

I imagine the afterlife of my story to be some kind of tree with the souls of the dead entering from the top and moving toward the roots, everything is constantly flowing and some souls return for reincarnation. The white creature coiled around the tree is the god of death, tending to the dead and the tree. He can also collect the souls from the world of the living or send them back.

Tried something fast and a bit messy for the art, I like it.

More “natural/core” forms of Lohiiki. She almost always has her signature 3 eyes and wild hair. Also tried something more painterly and quick, only a couple brushes and trying to keep it raw and loose.

Tried to keep the raw and organic process of the original painting I made, but I created the new design from memory.

But I should have checked the original, I think it’s still pretty cool, 15 years later. It’s like a prelude to my body horror art, where the shapes are more organic and flowing.
