I might just be autistic, but I’ve always found the phrase “ if a tree falls down in a forest and no one hears it doesn’t make a sound?” to really stupid. Like sounds are just vibrations in the air. Just because no one hears it doesn’t mean the vibration didn’t happen

I live near a railroad track, and I always think about the people driving it when I hear the whistle. Like who are they? Where are they from? Are they happy? I hope they’re happy.. How far have they travelled today? Have I heard them blow the whistle before, or is this the first time? Have they experienced love before? What do they think happens when we die?

These are questions I’ll never get the answers to, but their whistle will continue to echo through the night, and I will continue to wonder.

I have to use rubber gloves when I do dishes because the feeling of water on my skin ao ao extremely overstimulating.... Except every time after I use then, I have to lay thrm out so they dry properly. But the other people in this house will refuse to let me dry them out right so now there's water trapped inside them and I can't even do the dishes anymore because there's water in my gloves and I'm so overstimulated from just feeling the water in them :(

If they know water is overstimulating to you, this is ableism.

It’s always so funny to me when the nurse at the doctors office says “perfect” out of habit when they take off the pulse ox. Like my love I’m just sitting here and my heart rate is in the 130s I don’t think that qualifies as perfect lol

We cannot let fucking Internet discourse create a real divide between trans femmes and trans mascs. There are toxic people on this website who are promoting inflammatory speech in order to separate us.

We are each other’s biggest allies, and in a time where we are all being targeted more than ever by governments we can’t let internet assholes and Internet arguments ruin community and our mental health.

If someone is making negative sweeping statements about any group of trans people— I’ve seen people claim that trans mascs tend to be abusive!! My people that is a conservative, fascist talking point!! And I’ve seen the same said about trans femmes, which is also a conservative fascist talking point!!— please fucking Block them. Anyone using bioessentialism, claiming that trans women are “male socialized”, that trans men and trans mascs embody toxic masculinity and patriarchy upon realizing they are trans masc, is not working in anyone’s favor, these are toxic and destructive ways of thinking.

Oppression is not a zero sum game. Lack of housing is not something that is a magical “gotcha” in an Internet argument, it’s ghastly to use human suffering as social currency on fucking tumblr for who gets to speak and whose issues matter. We are all trans, we need to speak up for one another.

The worst part is talking to people who have been impacted by this irl and who are now cautious and suspect of trans mascs or trans femmes. This was not a thing when I was young! Feeling supported by trans people of all kinds helped me come out. This toxic atmosphere keeps people closeted and scared of rejection from their own community, which is the goal of the feds. Do not listen to people whose goal is to further divide trans people.

Breaking one another down is not woke, it’s not progressive, it’s not helping anyone except fascists.

Maybe I’ve been working MORE THAN double as hard for MY WHOLE LIFE and it’s led me to immense burnout & caused me to develop several MORE disabilities!! Maybe I should be ACCOMMODATED so I don’t have to KILL MY BODY AND BRAIN over trying to do what abled people can do!! Maybe I DON’T have to work double as hard!! Maybe if there’s the option to let me NOT work double as hard, I should have it, because I’m already working double as hard JUST TO SURVIVE!!

it's always ethical to kidnap an outdoor cat and make them an indoor cat. shithead owner will just assume a car or coyote got them. outdoor cats are bad for the environment, local wildlife and themselves. the only one that benefits from an outdoor cat is the lazy piece of shit owner that doesn't want to actually look after their cat. give that outdoor cat a better life, a longer life.
