RP starters: Concern.
“It’s midnight, where the hell were you?!”
“Stop keeping your phone in silent, you got me worried!”
“Blood? Are you bleeding?”
“I don’t like the idea of you walking down the streets all alone.”
“I thought I would never see you again…”
“We should get you to hospital.”
“Where did all those bruises came from?”
“I have the right to be worried!”
“Have you been drinking? You look terrible.”
“Sleep at my place tonight.”
“I don’t feel safe letting you be alone when you’re in that shape.”
“Please talk to me about it.”
“Let me take care of you.”
“You need to rest now. Don’t move.”
“How many times have I told you to not go there?”
“You could’ve died, you know…”
“I don’t care if you don’t want my help, I’ll do it anyways.”
“You really need to stop drinking. I’m serious.”
“This time you got yourself into a hospital. I think that’s a sign.”
“Are you sure you’re okay?”
“You need to stop doing stupid shit like that or you will get yourself killed.”
“I’m your friend, of course I care!”
“You know I’m always here for you, right?”
“You’re not okay.”
“I’m just trying to help you.”
“Let me clean your wounds…”
“Why did you do it? Tell me.”
You can lie to yourself as much as you want, you can’t forget how hard it is to see them together.

The Morning After Sentence Starters
"Get out, get out, get out, get out!"
"Do you remember anything from last night?"
"Why are you in my bed?"
"I'd offer you breakfast, but I think I'm too sore to move."
"So.. Was it good?"
"Who topped?"
"I thought you'd be gone by the time I woke up..."
"I should go."
"This didn't mean anything."
"We shouldn't have done this..."
"Of course I'm freaking out! You're my friend!"
"I'm guessing this was a one time thing?"
"Yeah, yeah, I know how this goes. I'll grab my clothes and get out of here."
"Good morning, hope you don't mind me borrowing your shirt.."
"I made you coffee, did you want some Aspirin?"
"This stays between us."
"Congratulations. You actually convinced me to sleep with you."
"Are you sneaking out on me?"
"So, how much for last night?"
"Holy shit! she's on her way over here right now, she/he CANNOT see you!"
"Don't answer it!"
"Do you have any idea how wrong this was?"
"We're cheaters. We're horrible people. Oh god my mother would be so ashamed of me right now."
"..Do you wanna do this again sometime, maybe?"
“Chaos and bloodshed already haunt us, honestly you shouldn’t even talk.” --Mairead (mouseofeire) {because she'll always defend her country}
“But saying nothing would mean we are colluding Maired.” Richard snorted, turning away from her. “Do you really want me to be such a coward?”
@mouseofeire
"I never called you a coward, Richard," Mairead said, making no move to close the space between them, "and I won't let a difference in politics come between us. I hope you think the same...but I can't support what is happening, and I can't speak out."
It frustrated her to no end, to be in a position where she could make a difference, yet in a position that kept her from doing so. She could speak out, say that what Churchill was doing in her country was more than what was necessary. Lord Lieutenant French asked for security, and Churchill gave him slaughter.
But if she spoke out, it would reflect poorly on Richard, and Mairead didn't want any trouble for him. She knew the press could be brutal, especially to anyone in support of the opposition in a time of war...after a time of war-- it wasn't wartime in England, she sometimes forgot.
"And you mustn't either, or they'll be dogging you about it forever."
This voice that roars when you approach has whispered assurances to others. My claws are sharp to you, but not to my children. These arms embrace as easily as they attack. Don’t use your ignorance of my nature to paint me into a corner.
She did not need much, wanted very little. A kind word, sincerity, fresh air, clean water, a garden, kisses, books to read, sheltering arms, a cozy bed, and to love and be loved in return.

She'd been able to hide it well enough with a corset, so she would be able to keep working and put away her wages for when she had to leave. Even when she began to show a little, Mairead just laced her corset tighter and ignored the slight lightheadednes that accompanied it. She hoped that Lady Alice wouldn't notice, so perhaps she would be able to work a while longer.
“Mairead, have you been feeling quite alright? I’ve been noticing you seem more and more… I don’t know, out of it.” Alice said, looking over herself in the mirror. She had gained at least three pounds since having her son, and she hated it. Not that her husband cared much… but she did.
Now that she looked at Mairead, she noticed that she was packing on a few extra pounds as well. Especially around her stomach…
Suspecting what was happening, Alice smirked. “Have you been having a go at the leftover cakes that Mrs. Carter doesn’t give to the cats?”
“Really? Are you absolutely sure about that? Because I’m fairly certain you do.” Alice said, more firm this time. “You won’t get fired for telling me, if that’s what you’re worried about.”
Mairead took a step backwards and stumbled, dropping the dressing gown as she went to catch herself. "I'm hiding nothing m'lady," she insisted, though her hands were resting atop her stomach now.

Mairead froze. “I’m doing fine, m'lady,” she said, folding her employer’s dressing gown over her arm. Her hand rested for a moment too long atop her stomach, and as soon as she realized this, she pulled it away.
“No m'lady, I haven’t…I don’t even know where Mrs Carter keeps the cakes.”
Alice chuckled. “I’m sure you don’t.” She would get the truth out of her maid, one way or another. “Tell me, have you been feeling ill lately?”
It was now clear to Alice where her maid’s mind had been these past few weeks. Of course she wouldn’t sack her, but Alice preferred to get the truth now, in case she had to start looking for a new maid.
“There was something going around downstairs a few months ago, m'lady, that I had a brief spell of, but that’s all, and I’m well enough now,” Mairead said, remembering back to the dreadful first couple months of her pregnancy. “But that’s all, truly.”
Alice’s chuckle turned into a full on laugh. “Mairead, we both know that I figured out the truth. I had it figured out a while ago to be honest.” She turned around to look at her maid. “So, do you have something that you need to tell me?”
Mairead shook her head. "N-no m'lady," she stammered, refolding the dressing gown. "I haven't got anything to tell you."
