Unexpectedly, I came to one interesting thought about the Original Dragon, which could answer some of the questions of those around him.
There is no direct evidence for this—these are just thoughts based on a logical chain.
The Original Dragon is the Dream Pokemon.
Not just as a joke about how the entire fandom dreams of its appearance. But in a literal sense, the Pokemon symbolizing Dream.
[Before that, a little explanation:
I believe that Kyurem can symbolize not only the absence of Truths and Ideals, but also a Goal. Kyurem has a strong desire to unite with Zekrom and Reshiram to fill the emptiness inside himself. A goal does not always require the presence of truths or ideals, but can harmoniously exist with each other, like White Kyurem/Black Kyurem.
With this fact that Kyurem symbolizes a goal, it also explains why the dragon was so easily subdued by Ghetsis, although it was not a captured Pokémon and did not show any compulsion to commit evil. Reshiram and Zekrom are almost easily controlled by those who have a truly strong will for truths and ideals. Kyurem may be the same, and it is Ghetsis who is distinguished by the lack of strong truths/ideals, but the presence of clear goals and desires to fulfill them.]
Neither ideals, nor truth, and even goals can exist without what they are based on. Before an idea, we always think about something, dream about something, and only then, having made some decision, we come to conclusions and the dream becomes an ideal, a truth, or a goal for you.
Dreams are also a kind of dreams, but in an unconscious state. A hidden space where dreams can come true, and show what you want. This explains the connection between Reshiram and Zekrom in the manga with the Dream World.
And even the idea that the Original Dragon is a Dream Pokemon fits the story of the king brothers! Both brothers were maddened by their truths and ideals, and having under their control the strongest weapon to prove their case, each wished, dreamed that the Dragon would stand on his side. And the Original Dragon, introverting the desire of each of them, voluntarily divided itself into two parts, giving each of the brothers what they wanted.
