Trainer Lindsey's 6 week Fit Body Challenge Round 1 Week 1 Day 1 First workout is complete. Took about 30min. It was a little challenging but not so much that I'm dreading tomorrow's workout. omg yes i actually got paid! i started doing this yesterday and at first I was worried that this wouldnt work, but its the real deal. i just basically do this  whenever iâm watching netflix(which is like everydayâŠ) i just open the website and do it while watching!

Ten pounds of muscle later and Iâm definitely not everyoneâs cup of tea.. especially in a world that teaches women to shrink themselves. But part of the reason I lift is to teach young girls that getting stronger will not lessen their femininity.. it will only weed out men who have little man syndrome. So far, so good đ
Since I've started working out, I've learned a lot about motivation
Itâs rarely consistent.
Something that used to motivate you may no longer matter to you at all.
Motivation may be absent altogether and you donât workout for months.
And then motivation comes along and surprises you. You discover a part of yourself that drives you everyday (even through the shitty cardio), and it doesnât just make you healthier - it transforms you a better person.
And then the cycle starts all over again.
And you learn more and more about yourself along the way, eventually developing into who youâre supposed to be â€ïž

Been wanting to try this
I read this the other day and it hit me, hard. When I first got into fitness, I looked up to a lot of women who I perceived to be the essence of health, but slowly I learned that having abs does not make you healthy. Having 100k followers does not make you healthy. Working out 6x a week does not make you healthy.
The fitness industry is about fitness, and often times health is neglected for the sake of a physique (having 10% body fat year round for a woman is NOT HEALTHY). Eating only vegetables and neglecting other macronutrients is not healthy. Eating ice cream for 6 meals a day is not healthy.
I am in no way the epitome of health. I donât eat as many vegetables as I should. I donât do as much cardio as I should. And sometimes my brain gets sick. THATS OKAY.
Please remember that both physical and mental health are far more important for the longevity of your life than being ripped to shreds. Please remember that you have more to offer than a body. Please remember that fitness is not synonymous with health.
