Y'all!!! Y'all!?!? I've single handedly changed the pumpkin 🎃 carving game! 😜😘 Happy Halloween everyone! Hope you're having the bestest time! What are you doing to celebrate and how is it different than every other year? Normally we hand out candy bars and go to a haunted house &/or corn maze. This year we're staying in and eating the candy all by ourselves! We're carving pumpkins, roasting the seeds (not from the white pumpkins though lol) drinking fresh apple cider from the orchard and eating apple cider donuts and 🍕! Yum! And watching It's a Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown ! Y'all sorry I've ghosted the internet. My family and I are doing ok. My anxiety during this pandemic has been off the charts. I thought a day or 2 off all media (even tv) would help, then maybe a couple weeks. Next thing I know it's been months. I appreciate every message, every prayer and every sweet thought. What have you ENJOYED about quarantine 2020? I'm "bored in the house, in the house bored" just like everyone! BUT I realized I've been given the GIFT of family time! I have my family home with me 24/7. I've said so many times my kids are growing up so fast and summer vacation doesn't last long enough. Now we have no choice! And I LOVE IT! We've had movie days, ice cream parties, baked, learned life skills (change a tire, cut hair, bake etc) Made forts, played games, did messy science experiments, sewed masks, created new meals, bon fires and smores, and at much more! Spent all morning making what I thought would be a "cute" mask. Instead I have a beak. I'm now a chicken. Lol still brightened my day! 😝 Thank you everyone that is wearing a mask in public! I overheard a person comment "I ain't scared like these people wearing mask" I'm actually the #HighRisk . So I have reason to be "scared". His comment also showed his ignorance and/or selfishness. By wearing a mask only slightly reduces my risk of catching anything but greatly reduces the spread to others. So if by chance you have #covid_19 but you're a healthy individual and didn't even notice your symptoms, it lessens the chance of someone else catching it. Hope everyone is safe and healthy! Today is a great day! I'm at the hospital getting my IVIg. I'm so thankful for it! At the same time I'm so anxious! The hospital isn't a place you want to go during a pandemic with a compromised immune system! 🤣 These keep me alive and keep my muscles working halfway and dementia at bay and keeps me from going into coma or worst!
