No offense, and this may seem ignorant, but what does mspec mean? Is it anyone who identifies with a masculine identity?
mspec is short for multi-spec, which encompasses every identity that involves attraction to more than one gender!

End Description.]
it’s okay to be pan
Can we also get one for being Omni and polysexual?

There’s nothing wrong with you if you fulfil stereotypes straight people have about what it means to be bisexual. It’s ok to be bi and polyamorous, it’s ok to be bi and a college girl. It’s ok to be bi with a preference. It’s ok to be bi any way you want, because it’s not YOUR responsibility to show straight people that we aren’t all the same. Because there’s nothing wrong with any of these things and you should never let anyone make you feel otherwise.
pan people are wonderful and deserve the world
Never ever forget that mspec people are great!!
Abro? Amazing!!
Fluid? Fantastic!!
No label? Nice!!
Bi? Brilliant!!
Omni? Awesome!!
Pan? Perfect!!
Ply? Powerful!!
Multi? Magical!!
Queer? Quintessential!!
Any other multisexual identity not mentioned?? Admirable!!
May anybody attracted to more than one gender always remember this!! You are loved no matter the monosexism in society or infighting found in the mspec community!! 💕
All mspecs are wonderful and important to the community. Yes whether you're pan, poly, omni, or any other kind of mspec, you are greatly appreciated by so, so many of us.
Please always remember that the exclusionists now are not in the right. They are the problem. Transphobes are the problem. They are the toxic ones. Never your identity.
Never your love. Never your attraction. Never your queerness. You are not the problem.
I promise you, the exclusionists are not representative of the LGBT+ and Queer community as a whole. You have a space in these communities. You always have, and you always will.
Be kind to yourself today, and never ever stop identifying how you do because of exclusionists. Keep being you.
"Pansexuality is biphobic, go read the bisexual manifesto!" The. The bisexual manifesto. Published by the Bay Area Bi+ & Pan Network.
The bisexual manifesto ain't some panphobic Bible and yall really need to stop fucking acting like it is.
pan people are good and I like them. if ur pan I’m mentally shaking ur hand and “nice.”
bi/pan solidarity is really good and easy actually. I walk up to my pan friend and ask “hey why do you id as pan?” and they say “because I feel it matches my internal perception of my orietation. why do you id as bi?” and I say “because I feel it matches my internal perception of my orietation. yknow, our lived experience of being attracted to multiple genders is almost identical, it would be really stupid if I were to treat you badly and spend large amounts of my time insulting you because of some weird idea that your identity means you inherently think you’re better than me and wish I’d stop existing, right? that would be fucked up and mind numbingly pointless, right?” and they say “yeah man, it would be” and then we make a cake :)
Me, a bisexual:
omnisexuality
does not hurt
bisexuality.
pansexuality
does not hurt
bisexuality.
polysexuality
does not hurt
bisexuality.
you’re just a dickhead.
I just discovered what a “battleaxe bi” is and I have never been so ashamed and disappointed.
There was a pin called “battleaxe bi” I was considering getting. I’m not anymore.
I refuse to tell pansexuals - or other mspec sexualities - that they are biphobic, that they are “just bisexual”, that they are not welcome in our community.
I’m better than that.
Damn it seems you’ve never read the bisexual manifesto and that’s a shame.
idk, it seems like you haven’t read the manifesto, rat. It includes this very important paragraph:
“Do not expect each magazine to be representative of all bisexuals, for our diversity is too vast. Do not expect a clear-cut definition of bisexuality to jump out from the pages. We bisexuals tend to define bisexuality in ways that are unique to our own individuality. There are as many definitions of bisexuality as there are bisexuals. Many of us choose not to label ourselves anything at all, and find the word ‘bisexual’ to be inadequate and too limiting.“
People can use whatever label and definition they want, including none at all, and including labels and definitions you don’t like. I’ve seen plenty of bisexuals describe their attraction as “to women and men” and who hate the “regardless of gender” definitions. I’ve seen plenty of bisexuals who define it as “anything that moves”. I’ve seen plenty of bisexuals who don’t define it, and people who could fit under the bi label but refuse to use it and people who use the bi label along with other labels, etcetera, etcetera.
Trying to narrow down the wealth of experiences with sexuality that the bi+ community represents, including experiences with labeling, goes directly against the manifesto.
It’s really unfortunate that panphobes decided to pick up battleaxe bi, because the term wasn’t initially associated with panphobia. It was thought up as part of the LGBT+ Armory Collection, which contains two different pansexual options! [x]
The person making these patches and pins is a person who’s work is inclusive, and I hate seeing it being associated with bigots.
i just saw a post in the mspec positivity tag that was that one picture that was like "they may overlap but the distinction matters to some and thats ok." edited to say "one is a perfectly valid and normal identity and the rest are biphobic." and now im just sad :(. i wish people would stop posting stuff like that in the positivity tags because shit sucks rn and that put me in a really bad place. :((
people who go out of their way to invade safe/positive spaces with their hatred are a different kind of terrible. it’s not enough for them to just post queerphobic bullshit, they need to make sure the people they’re targeting are seeing it when they least expect it. they’re garbage human beings and i’m sorry for every single person who has to put up with them in their every day life.

mfs will acknowledge everything on that bi manifesto except for the part where it validates the existence of other mspec identities and being in support of going by no labels
Pan folks you are literally always welcome in this community this bi is your ally
