Inner peace is so much better than ice cream nowadays. You eat that ice cream, made you happy for awhile but after that you're not your good self again. However, it is a struggle to maintain that peace. Choose your people! Choose your fights. Choose to be happy. 💖💯🌷
Road to PLE2021
Suddenly I realized how fast 10 years is. I started studying and preparing for medicine back in 2011 when I took up BS Pharmacy. Never thought it would be this fast. So surreal yet grateful. Still have a long way to go but this is definitely one of those milestone! Congratulations Batch 2020! Finally, DOKTOR NA PO AKO! To the future and aspiring doctors out there, It’s tiring and disappointing to see the news everyday but this is the perfect time to be a doctor. Our country needs you, our country needs us.

Two weeks till the start of PGIship. Let’s do this #PLE2021
A lot of things is happening lately, from the pandemic issues to economic and political issues. One thing is for sure, we are not winning the fight against COVID-19. STAY AT HOME, WASH YOUR HANDS and WEAR YOUR MASK PROPERLY.
That's it!!! I'm officially a graduate of DOCTOR OF MEDICINE. Thank you to everyone, my family, friends and to God!!
There's always something to be thankful for. On the road to greater & bigger responsibilities. 🥰
It's time for you to start taking the necessary steps to become that version of yourself that you can't stop dreaming about.

“Effort makes you. You will regret someday if you don’t do your best now. Don’t think it’s too late but keep working on it. It may take time, but there’s nothing that gets worse due to practising. So practise. You may get depressed, but its evidence that you are doing good.”

Feeling tired and that your efforts are not paying off? You’ve done so much and survived a lot. Trust in yourself you can do whatever is coming.
what skin care routine do you recommend for oily skin?
Hi! clean your face, do not sleep with your make up on, and no to alcohol-based products. you can follow these simple (basic) steps:
1. Wash your face with a facial cleanser, not the bar soap you use for your body since it will leave a film on your skin causing it to be drier than normal. Use a foamy cleanser for oily skin and hydrating cleanser for dry and mix skin type.
2. Toner - do not use an alcohol-based toner, not only it kills skin microbiome it also reacts to create more oil in response to the astringent effect of the alcohol.
3. Sunscreen prevents skin damage from harmful effects of UV rays.
Protect your skin, eat a healthy diet and lifestyle and less stress

I saw a post belittling those with down syndrome!!! Are you even human? How could you! The world we live in is not a safe place anymore. All these injustices, killings and discrimination is the real virus.

tips for med freshies?
hello :) I made a post about what I learned after 1 semester in medicine, check it out here :)
- biochemistry tips - I used Harper Biochemistry as my reference since college although I knew some who prefer Lippincott biochemistry.
- gross anatomy - read Snell Anatomy while studying your Netter. :)
- physiology - Guyton is your guy! you can use Berne and Levy as well. Do not memorize! you must understand.
- histology - make your own tables with pictures of the slides, its very helpful. I used Junquiera and Defiore :)
don’t forget to love what you do despite the difficulties, you can do it <3
