Feelings Part 2

A/N: Yeah so I'm finally posting part 2 after months. Sorry it took so long

“Guys this is my boyfriend Gideon” Sirius tells them.

To say the other three boys are shocked is an understatement Remus feels like his heart just got ripped out “since when do you have a boyfriend pads?” James asks, confused.

“Um since earlier” Sirius says confused on why they aren’t happy for them “um I’m gonna go I’ll see you later Siri” Gideon says as he kisses Sirius on the cheek Remus wants to cry and throw up at the same time when he sees Gideon kiss Sirius on the cheek.

“Bye Gideon” Sirius beams at Gideon kissing him on the cheek. Once Gideon leaves Sirius turns to the other three marauders “what’s wrong with you three you didn’t even say anything to Gideon when I introduced you guys” Sirius says.

“We were just confused pads, I didn’t even know you liked Prewett” James says “his name is Gideon and yes I do like him he asked me out and why wouldn’t I say yes” Sirius says annoyed that they aren’t happy for them.

James grabs Sirius’ arm and drags him into the bathroom, once they are in the bathroom James shuts the door “what the hell prongs” Sirius says “what the hell is a matter with you? I thought you liked Moony?” James asks.

Sirius gasps he never told James that how the hell did he find out “look I got tired of waiting around for someone who would never love me back and then Gideon asked me out and he’s sweet and nice and funny why the hell wouldn’t I say yes?” SIrius asks.

“Moony loves you too” James tells Sirius “bullshit Moony isn’t gay and he would never like me now can’t you just be happy for me?” Sirius asks annoyed “of course I’m happy for you but you know you’re just stringing Gideon along when you are in love with someone else” James tells Sirius.

“I’m not stringing him along,” Sirius says as he leaves the bathroom.

While Sirius and James were in the bathroom Peter and Remus were siting on James’ bed “I was stupid for thinking Sirius would ever love me” Remus says “no Moony he does love you I don’t know why he’s with Prewett” Peter tells Remus and before Remus can respond Sirius comes out of the bathroom.

“I’m going to go prank some slytherins, come find me when you guys actually want to be happy for me” Sirius tells them as he leaves the dorm room.

“I take it the conversation in the bathroom didn’t go well?” Peter asks “well he pretty much admitted he was in love with Moony but then when I told him Moony liked him back he said that was impossible and then pretty much called me a bad friend” James told them.

“So what you’re saying is that Moony just has to tell Sirius how he feels and then this mess will be over” Peter says “you’re crazy if you think I’m going to tell him now he obviously doesn’t have feelings for me because if he did he wouldn’t be with someone else” Remus tells them.

“Moony that’s not true Sirius does love you he just doesn’t realize you love him back and so he’s trying to pretend those feelings don’t exist” James tries to explain “he obviously doesn’t and I’m done with this conversation I’m going to the library” Remus says and he gets up and leaves the dorm.

“They are both so stupid” Peter says and james just nods his head.

It’s a couple days later and Sirius is on date with Gideon, he hasn’t spoken with the other marauders in days because they haven’t apologized to him and so he’s been ignoring them.

Sirius and Gideon are at the three broomsticks and they both got butterbeer and they are sitting at a table “what’s wrong?” Gideon asks, he's noticed that Sirius has been acting off this whole date.

“Oh nothing” Sirius says not wanting to get into it with Gideon “that’s not true, come on you can tell me” Gideon says as he grabs SIrius’ hand. And in that moment he realizes that he is stringing Gideon along and he can’t do that to Gideon he doesn’t deserve that.

Sirius pulls his hand away “look Gideon you’re amazing and in any other situation this would be amazing but I can’t string you along I’m in love with someone else and I thought that I could get over him but I can’t I’m so sorry” Sirius tells him.

Gideon sighs “look Sirius anyone would be so lucky to have you, you should tell him how you feel because unless he’s insane he probably feels the same way” Gideon tells Sirius.

“Can we still be friends?” Sirius asks “of course and if you ever need someone to talk to about anything I’ll be here” Gideon tells him, Sirius kisses Gideon on the cheek “thank you for everything Gideon” Sirius says as he leaves to go find Remus.

Remus, Peter and James are all hanging out, Peter and James are buying Remus a bunch of chocolate because Sirius is on his date and they know Remus is upset “you know you don’t have to do this right guys? I’m fine” Remus tells them.

“We want to Moony now shut up and let us buy you chocolate” James says and before Remus can respond Sirius comes running over to them “I knew I would find you guys here, can I talk to you alone Moony?” SIrius asks.

Remus just nods and SIrius and Remus walk off, once they are alone Sirius starts ranting “look Moony I know you don’t feel the same way and please don’t let this ruin our friendship but I love you I’m in love with you I’ve been been in love with you for years probably since I first met you and-” before Sirius can continue Remus kisses Sirius.

When they finally pull apart Remus says “I love you too I don’t know how long I’ve loved you but I do I love you and I want to be with you” Remus says and Sirius just kisses Remus again.

Remus’ phone dings in the middle of brunch with Lily. He turns it over to look at it. It’s from Sirius.

Remus snorts, making Lily lean over to see.

“After all the chaos your boyfriend has caused, you really don’t believe he brought snacks into the bath?” Lily questions.

“Oh, I know he brought snacks in the bath, but this is more fun than straight up asking for nudes.”

“Y’all do foreplay weird,” Lily says, shaking her head.

Remus just grins, tilting his phone to make sure the picture of Sirius with a very strategically placed cupcake stays private.

If I Die Young

A/N: This is based on the song if I die young by the band Perry I tweaked the song a little tho

TW: Suicide please do not read if this will trigger you.

Sirius knew he shouldn’t do this, logically he knew that this wasn’t a good choice but he didn’t feel like he had any other choice ever since the prank and the boys stopped talking to him he’s been feeling likes he’s drowning, technically he knew he had been feeling like this longer than that but back then he had the three boys. His two best friends and his boyfriend but now he has no one and he can’t handle it anymore he can’t keep feeling this way so he’s doing the only thing he can think of to stop the feeling.

He’s sitting on the edge of the astronomy tower and part of him is still hoping that the boys will find him and help him but he’s knows it’s not gonna happen they hate him and it’s all his fault he hates himself he knows he doesn’t deserve love and he finally proved it to the boys and now no one loves him.

He puts the note he’s holding in his pocket. He knows that whoever finds him will find the note and hopefully they will give it to the three marauders, the note is covered in tears and he knows that this is his time so he pushes himself off the edge and falls.

The three marauders are sitting in the dorm “Have either of you seen Sirius? It's really late and he should be back in the dorm by now” Remus asks “I thought you were mad at Sirius?” Peter asks.

“Just because I’m angry at Sirius doesn’t mean I don’t care about him” Remus snaps James puts a calming hand on Remus “he didn’t mean it like that Moony, Pete was just confused” James said calmly.

Peter nods his head “yeah Moony, I didn’t mean to upset you” Peter says Before Remus can say something he sees something falling from the window out of the corner of his eye “did you guys see that?” Remus asks.

“Yeah I saw that what was that?” James asks as they all rush to the window to try to see what that was. They all gasp at what they see “is that a body on the grounds?” Peter asks “I think it is, we need to go check. Peter you go get Madam Pomfrey James and I are gonna go outside and check on the person” Remus says.

They all rush out of the dorm room and luckily no one is in the common room to question why they are leaving past curfew. Peter separates from them to go get Madam Pomfrey and James and Remus run outside.

They make it outside a couple minutes later and they instantly recognize who it is “that’s not him right?” James asks tearfully and Remus doesn’t answer; he just rushes over to Sirius. Remus gasps when he sees Sirius’ injuries and then he checks to see if he’s breathing or if there is a pulse.

He gasps when he realizes Sirius isn’t breathing and there isn’t a pulse “James he’s not breathing and there is no pulse” Remus says mid sob “what do I do?” Remus asks, hugging Sirius’ body and at that moment Madam Pomfrey rushes out with Peter right behind her.

They approach and they both gasp when they see who it is “Mr. Lupin will you please move so I can see Mr. Black” Madam Pomfrey asks calmly “I can’t let him go” Remus sobs James taking charge pulls Remus off of Sirius’ body “Moony we need to give her space to work” James says tearfully.

Madam Pomfrey rushes Sirius into the hospital wing and doesn’t allow them into the room so the three of them are all sitting outside of the hospital wing and none of them have dry eyes.

McGonagall is doing her rounds when she sees the three boys sitting outside of the hospital wing “what on earth are you boys doing up?” she asks and before any of them can answer her Madam Pomfrey opens the door.

The three boys stand up “I’m so sorry boys but Sirius didn’t make it” Pomfrey says tearfully and Remus collapses to the floor sobbing James and Peter crouch down onto the floor with Remus and the three of them are just holding each other sobbing.

McGonagall gasps when she hears what Pomfrey said she can’t comprehend that Sirius is gone “I found this note in his pocket, I thought you might wanna read it” Madam Pomfrey says to the boys and Remus grabs the note.

The three boys read the note and just start sobbing harder after they finish reading the note “may I see the note?” McGonagall asks softly and Remus just hands her the note, unable to talk.

McGonagall reads the note and starts crying “Pomfrey will you please go inform the Headmaster? I’ll stay here with the boys” McGonagall asks and Pomfrey just nods and walks off to inform the Headmaster.

“Boys why don’t we go to my office” McGonagall says softly not wanting to upset the boys further “I want to see him” Remus says surprising McGonagall but the not other two boys “I don’t think that’s the best idea Remus” McGonagall says.

“No we need to see him” James says weakly unable to stop crying for his brother that he watched fall through the cracks and is now gone. McGonagall just nods “very well but I am coming in with you” McGonagall tells them and they just nod and walk into the hospital wing.

The three boys start crying harder when they see him “This is all my fault” Remus sobs as he approaches Sirius’ body “Mr. Lupin it’s not your fault” McGonagall says “no it is my fault, if I would have listened to him after the prank instead of ignoring him this would have never had happened” Remus snaps.

“It’s all of our fault we missed him falling through the cracks and we didn’t help him we just ignored him if we would have been there for him this would have never happened” James says mid sob as he walks next to Remus.

The three boys refuse to leave the hospital wing all night not wanting to say goodbye to Sirius not wanting to admit that he’s gone because once they leave the hospital wing it will be real Sirius will be dead and they can’t handle that.

Feelings

It was the start of 6th year the marauders were adjusting back into their routine they have during the school year and James and Sirius obviously make sure there are pranks involved, not that the other two actually mind.

Sirius made note that that that Remus had grown enormously not that he wasn’t already tall now he was just about 6’5 which made Sirius and his 5’4 body look tiny not that Sirius minded it was one of the many reasons he was in love with Remus not that anybody knew because first off Remus is straight and it’s lucky that he even accepts him because of his homophic parents second even if he was gay he would never love Sirius.

James Potter was many things he is a quidditch captain, he is a Gryffindor, he is a son, he is a marauder, a animagus but he is not naive he knows Sirius is in love with Remus but the reason he hasn’t said anything is because he knows Sirius doesn’t want anyone to know.

Remus was feeling different this year he knew obviously he grew a lot and then the full moons which sucked but there was this new feeling he couldn’t place. His parents during the summer had been awful there had been some LGBTD+ activism in the papers all summer and they wouldn’t shut up about about how sinful it was and saying slurs and saying how they should either go to church or go to jail, so it as a long summer but he couldn’t tell Sirius about this because Sirius always shuts down because Sirius thinks he will judge him the same way his parents do so he hasn't told anyone about his summer.

Peter’s family often went over to the Potter’s during summers for dinners. Peter and James’ mom’s have been best friends since Hogwarts so they spent a lot of time together during the summer. Because Peter had known James so long he could tell when something was off about James nobody seemed to remember how good Peter is at reading James but Peter didn’t say anything all summer.

One particular morning the four boys are in their room, Remus is getting his stuff so he can take a shower, Sirius looks like he is zoned out. (Really he’s thinking about how he needs to get over Remus because Remus will never love him) Sirius gets up off his bed and leaves their room.

The other three boys are confused why Sirius left, “that was weird” Remus says James nods “yeah I don’t know what’s gotten into him but he’s been acting weird” James tells Remus “huh that’s weird” Remus says as he walks into the bathroom.

James goes to grab something in his trunk when Peter grabs his arm “why have you been acting weird?” Peter asks “what are you talking about?” James asks pretending he doesn’t know what Peter means and he knows Peter can tell when he lies.

“What am I talking about? I’m talking about the fact that you have been acting off all summer and you are still acting off so don’t even say it’s cause you missed Hogwarts and I let it slide and I didn’t say anything but you are going to tell me now” Peter says.

James sighs “look it’s just the stuff with Sirius and his parents” James tries to lie Peter sees right through the lie “bullshit” Peter says “your right petey” James says using the nickname James used when they were toddlers.

“If you think that will get you out of telling me it won’t” Peter said James huffed he really hoped that would work “fine but you have to make the pj promise that you won’t say anything” James told Peter. Peter laughed thinking about when they were little and coming up with the idea of the pj promise it was the ultimate promise and they thought as kids if you broke you died because you betrayed your friend.

“I pj promise Jamie” Peter told James using the nickname Peter used when they were toddlers “ok so I’m 100% sure Sirius is in love with Remus but I haven’t talked to Sirius about it because you know how he’s afraid that Remus won’t accept him” James explained.

“You know I can’t say I’m surprised” Peter told James and James slapped Peter on the back of the head “now be quiet we don’t want Moony to hear us” James said not knowing that it was too late Remus had heard everything.

“Um again I’m sorry” Sirius says looking at the ground Gideon laughs “look it’s fine but if you don’t mind me asking you’re single right because if you are I would love to take you out on a date” Gideon says and Sirius looks up confused “what?” Sirius asks “I’m asking you out” Gideon says.

Meanwhile Sirius was wandering the corridors trying to figure out a way to get over Remus so far he hasn’t fingered out a way Sirius isn’t watching where he’s going and he ends up running into someone. When he looks he sees a 7th year Gryffindor, Gideon Prewett. Sirius starts stuttering out words “I’m so sorry I wasn’t watching where I was going” Sirius manages to get out.

“Well that’s ok if you not watching where you're going means I get to have to in my arms I think I can manage” Gideon flirts and that’s when Sirius realizes he’s literally in Gideon’s arms, Sirius pulls back and stands up.

“Really? This isn’t just a joke because if it is that is really messed up” Sirius rambles Gideon grabs Sirius’ hand “It’s not a joke I like you and I want to take you out” Gideon tells Sirius “I wanna go out with you too” Sirius tells Gideon “come on I’ll walk you to your dorm” Gideon says and he holds out his hand as a invite for Sirius to grab onto his hand and Sirius takes the opportunity and they head towards the Gryffindor dorms holding hands.

Back in the boys dorms Remus was in the bathroom freaking out Sirius is in love with him and why does that make him happy. Remus is pacing in the bathroom trying to figure out what to do he doesn’t even know how he feels then he decides fuck it he’s gonna talk to the two people who made these feeling happen.

James and Peter are sitting on James’ bed when Remus barges out of the bathroom “this is your fault” Remus says to the two. James and Peter look up confused “Moony what’s wrong?” James asks.

“What’s wrong? What’s wrong is that I just heard you say Sirius is in love with me and I don't know how I feel now thanks to you” Remus rambles James and Peter look at each in worry “Moony do you have any idea how you feel?” Peter asks calmly.

“I know that thinking that Sirius is in love with me makes my heart happy but then I think about my parents” Remus says “Moony don’t worry about your parents this isn’t about them this is about you and Sirius” James says.

“I think I love him too, the way he smiles when he’s happy, the way he complains about hating the library but will always go with me to the library. I love cuddling with him when he’s padfoot and I love him” Remus says as he realizes he loves Sirius.

James and Peter hug Remus “that’s great Moony you have to tell him as soon as he gets back” James tells Remus and Remus smiles not even thinking about his parents. 

Gideon and Sirius are walking through the Gryffindor common room holding hands. Sirius laughs “oh are really gonna walk me all the way to my dorm?” Sirius asks playfully “oh yes I am spending as much time as possible with you especially since I get to hold your hand love” Gideon says.

They make it up to the dorm and Sirius walks in holding hands with Gideon. The other three marauders look up when the door opens thinking this is the moment, they see Sirius walk in and then they see someone else walk in and they all are confused.

“Guys this is my boyfriend Gideon” Sirius tells them.
