Something I’ve been thinking over, as someone who grew up around a transwoman in a moderately “traditional” environment.

Despite the obsession with “transwomen are women”, I’ve never seen or heard of a transwoman using the ample male privilege they had growing up to stand up for the women in their life that they theoretically identify with so much.

Didn’t see them lifting a finger to help when the women were preparing food while the men sat around laughing, or wincing when the men interrupted, scolded, shut down their wives - as I did, because I saw my future self in those women.

Didn’t see them, even if they couldn’t speak up in the open, privately checking in with their female relatives. Asking them how they were doing. Praising their unacknowledged labor.

Didn’t really see them noticing the women at all.

How does that work? How can you identify with the theoretical idea of womanhood, but not with actual women?

American Girl was the best shit. I’ve seen people get grossed out by the illustrations in their puberty books, but lord, how else was I supposed to properly learn? American Girl gave zero fucks about conservative family feelings. They were like “girls need to know this shit and we’re going to market it in such a way that you buy it”

To sum up, We are basically all terfs. liberal or radical. Accepting transgender is not an option here.

We started protest against unfair investigation based on gender and 60,000 women have gathered(No boys allowed lol). This all started when a woman took a spycam of a male nude model. (for your context, male model was harrassing other female nude model by uncovering his dick during the breaktime and lying on the table.) This was the very first spycam that woman took on man. She was immediately arrested and the website where she uploaded the photo was investigated. It was on the news and cover story for weeks, everyone talked about how women these days are crossing the line, and how men are oppressed and so on. Justice served, huh?

MEANWHILE, men were taking spycam on women EVERY FUCKING DAY since god knows when (mainly bathroom and during sex) and spycam were and still are the major income source of porn sites. And whenever women reported the spycam, men would just walk away freely. For instance, a man has been taking spycam for 4 years of women during sex, and earned apprx. $350,000 annually. And when he was finally reported, he was charged with $50 fine and that was it.

When women reported the illegal porn website with spycam FOR 10 YEARS, police took no action. (Yes We have been fighting this fucking thing for 10 years. lol.Korean men just won’t give up on spycam.)

So this is why we started the protest. I really wish I could write more but i gotta run to class. and i am also thinking about making another tumblr on this regard…
