I started my own prayer book so I have a collection written down! As much as I love online systems for organizing these I always end up going back to paper and carefully writing things out by hand. In my experience I feel more connected to the demonic divine. Maybe because I grew up with less computer use.
I cannot stress this enough:
No matter how "confident" you are in your "UPG", your experiences, your "session", meditation, or the moments by which you have "experienced" something "divine" or spiritual you absolutely must critically examine it before you subscribe to it.
Discernment is absolutely lacking for many people.
There is so much that I see that is very clearly self projection and the practitioners do not realise it. So much I see that is feedback loops. So much that I see that screams "self created". These things matter. But so does your discernment to understand what is Divine and what is maladaptive daydreaming.

Something I keep repeating over and over again.
You must cultivate your relationships.
It sounds silly. It sounds like something that should be common sense. But I feel like I have had to tell so many people that you need to give as well as be open and recieving.
Your relationships with the Divine (and anyone) must be tailored gently. "I saw this thing and it reminded me of you" so you send a link or a photo to someone you care about? Yeah that principle applies to the Divine, too. A rock. A photo. A piece of art. You bring them.
You also sit and talk. Have a coffee. Have a drink. Water. Dinner. You share a meal. You hold conversations. You hang out and bask in an afternoon setting sun and admire the birds.
If you are not doing this, That's why your relationships with the Divine feel flat and empty. It is not just about going through the motions, lighting a candle, offering incense. It isn't just about routine and saying the words. Your work with the Divine isn't your 9-5 job. And it doesn't deserve the same cold detachment you treat your job. It isn't to pay your bills. It's for spiritual and personal enrichment and growth.
Lucifer's origins are wild.
You mean that he was a god of light and the planet Venus? You mean to tell me he was celebrated in Rome? You mean to tell me that this God, who was depicted as a child, who was loved throughout Rome, who was Aurora's son, was demonized because some scholars thought "How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!" which was referring to a king's pride? Because Venus, aka the Dawn Star, aka Morning Star, hangs a bit low on the horizon?
How art thou fallen from Heaven indeed.

I have reached into my heart to try to open it. I succeeded today. I found balance. My heart is no longer closed off. But I am feeling again. It scares me. However, I trust in my demons and the work I have done this full moon. I trust in the pantheon I am building.
It's fascinating how a lot of Evangelical Christian anxiety about Satanism seems to be rooted in the unspoken idea that if the Devil gathers enough worship he'll depose God and become the new God, because that's not the party line in any major religion, but it is how it works in Dungeons & Dragons.

and that's what those people hate to see.
Performed a spell last night in an elemental circle involving daemons. I now have a beautiful candle designed specifically for meditation. Once I get better at candle making, I can't wait to see how spells like this compair.
