I realize I’ve mentioned Lavender and Chamomile tea more times than I should. That being said it’s nice and soothing but if I had a nickel for every time I mentioned Lavender Chamomile tea I wouldn’t be able to afford squat today but it probably would’ve paid for a fancy dinner 100 years ago, meaning I mentioned it too many times indeed.

Every genre I associate drinks with

Beer: Country, blues or polka music, depends on the beer

Tea: Classical, very very fancy 🧐

Coffee: Jazz, I mean come on you can’t not put these two together

Soda: Kind of like Rock

Energy Drinks: I’d say either rap or hyper-pop which are two completely different things but basically Monster goes well with both

Juice: I’d say mostly kids music just because I associate most juices (not all) but most as a kid’s drink

Smoothie: i’d say EDM, don’t knock it till you try it

Wine: Avant -garde art music that hurts your ears but you pretend to like it just because you are friends with the avant-garde musician and you don’t wanna hurt their feelings

Cider: Folk music, perfect for fall

Milk: White noise, if you can withstand drinking milk on its own then you probably also like white noise, hey I don't make the rules.

Water: Taylor Swift

Stay tuned it you want me to get more specific on certain drinks, this is just to cover the basics first

Edu: Lemon and pear latte (it’s not a thing but it sounds like it really should be)

Bad bunny: COQUITO because Puerto Rico is cool and better than any piss beer from Kid Rock or some racist MAGA modern country singer any day

Adrienne Lenker: Lavender tea with milk, just sounds right to me

Ben folds five: A wacky Shirley Temple mixed with lemonade (which I’m guessing is just another variation on a Shirley Temple)

Badbadnotgood: Butterfly pea flower tea with lemonade but remember, running away is easy, it's the leaving that’s hard.

Tame impala: Sprite, it makes you -feel like a brand new persoooooooon

Also many say the doors would be absinthe, but I also believe they would be a nice malt root beer, I feel like it would be something Jim Morrison would enjoy with a nice shot of absinthe. 💚💚💚

I don’t talk about movies much on this blog, but if yellow submarine were to get a remake or a sequel, I’d prefer they do it in the same style they did in the 60s. None of that motion capture crap. That doesn’t mean it needs a reboot or sequel or any of that crap, but as an animator I’d personally like to see more of that specific hand drawn mixed media psychedelic look because I don’t feel like I see enough of it. My dream rehashing of this source material would be Pepperland 60 years later and people having to bring the music back after the Beatles being gone. Maybe there is a rift between the People and blue meanies? Idk but I just wish I could see more of that Yellow Submarine style.
