Rebranding the Satanic Panic to be about "human trafficking" was the smartest move these people ever did, since no one wants to be against human trafficking victims, so they'll be more credulous, even towards organizations that push paranoid conspiracy theories with very little relation to trafficking in practice, who stage dramatic but ultimately useless raids for the cameras (because when you're helping traumatized children, it helps to be as loud and dramatic as possible) and show very little regard for any real victims they do rescue (for instance, releasing a bunch of rescued children after less than a week bc they had nothing at hand to help). You can be an outright QAnon guy and if you claim you're helping "real" human trafficking victims instead of openly ranting about adrenochrome parties under pizza shops, people will treat you with kid gloves when you make a movie about how great you are, yes, this is about the organization the hit movie Sound of Freedom is about!

They've done all of these things, including releasing trafficked children in a matter of days bc they put all their thought into doing a big dramatic raid for the cameras and nothing into what to do with anyone they rescued. Oh, and they don't actually verify that people are trafficked before launching a big, dramatic, violent raid to "rescue" them. And since they're far-right, the list of things they consider "trafficking" is ever growing. All sex work, no matter how consensual, is trafficking in their eyes. No doubt soon enough they'll be discussing "liberating" trans kids from their parents, if they haven't already.

In the end, what these people have learned is that you can get away with McMartin-level nonsense if you just excise the Satanism from it and pretend it's secular

after some deliberation I ended up picking the Mushroom for Moryo - I'm picturing after they did some Curator stuff and learned about the Curators that Moryo decided it didn't offer them the freedom they want and changed their mind. *Extra characters: what I mean by this is, if you want an extra character, go by the listed price for how you want them to look to figure out the cost. For example, if you want one character full-body shaded and another halfbody flat color, that would be 155$.

*Backgrounds: A complicated background, like an actual scene, is going to be 100$ minimum, but it might cost more depending on the level of complexity and detail you're looking for. DM me if you want a complex background and we'll talk about it.

On October 12, 2023 we will be hosting Dr. Darrel Ray from Recovering From Religion! This is our chapter's first event and we would love to have Dr. Ray visit our campus and discuss his work at Recovering From Religion and the psychological implications of religious trauma.

Dr. Darrel W. Ray is author of four books, two on organizational team issues, The God Virus: How Religion Infects Our Lives and Culture which explores the social-psychology of religion and his latest book, Sex and God: How Religion Distorts Sexuality. He has been a psychologist for over 30 years, practicing counseling and clinical psychology for 10 years then moved into organizational psychology and consulting. He has been a student of religion most of his life and holds a MA degree in religion as well as a BA in Sociology/Anthropology and a Doctorate in psychology. You realize what this implies? Curators existed before the Judgments! They're not their creators. I don't know if one's magnanimity being "sharp as knives" means you rarely give, or you give a lot with precision, but the Judgements made charity a crime. Mr. Menagerie mentions that itself, having to charge a single sovereign to tell this story. Either way, it still seems like the Judgements overpowered the Curators, adding more rules and changing their culture.
