I really like that there's very little evidence that obi wan drinks tea but the fandom generally agrees that he does, drinks it everyday, religiously even, it shows up in almost every fanfic I've read that centers obi wan, remarkable

not a character who died and came back different or who died but came back the same but a character who died and came back extremely angry that you stopped digging for them
you were so close
why did you give up on me
why did I have to drag myself out of this grave without you
funny seeing the google ai go on full defense for white people over the word honky while the wiki article it's sourcing is just like "yeah its some insult". they're injecting their own #alllivesmatter weights into the bot
MY FUCKING CAR
anti abortion propaganda that tries to like scare you into feeling guilty by reminding you that the fetus has body parts are so funny. "uwu please don't abort me I have eyes at 4 weeks old 🥺" nice try sucker I don't care if you see it coming
The idea of clones having absurd tan lines has been amusing me lately. Just think of a group of guys who grew up indoors without sun exposure and probably had supplements for the vitamins instead of actively getting UV. Their Māori genetics have been itching for any single ray of sunlight. So when they get out, and the only part of themselves they somewhat regularly expose is their face, they tan immediately. Like a dry sponge unfurling at a drop of water. Meanwhile, the rest of their body that’s covered in armor still has a slow way to go
interesting kink assortment on the dash
i actually love obi wan kenobi as a complex and flawed character who was put into a situation with no guidance from his mentors whatsoever other than “dont fuck it up” and hes well aware that theres so much pressure on him and anakin and he loves anakin so much and his self loathing from being a padawan never truly goes away than obi wan kenobi as the one who did everything right and for the sake of duty and was willing to let anakin in it was all anakins fault for the misunderstandings between them and obiwan will NEVER make mistakes and always act correctly — because an obi-wan kenobi that acts correctly is an obi-wan that would’ve never loved anakin in the first place. let obi-wan be brash, be mean, be kind, but also be distant— let obi-wan be the problem, let obi-wan be the menace and struggle between feeling his emotions too brash versus the sad resort to suppressing everything. let obi-wan be an asshole, but let him love the jedi, ahsoka, anakin, padme— his men— let obi-wan kenobi not only he a talented jedi but be human.
He delivered unto them the commandments.
One of the guys I worked with told us a story about how, when they were doing archaeology surveys in the woods they ran into a bigfoot hunter. Bigfoot guy asked if they had seen signs of bigfoot, and he was like "Sorry, nothing like that. We're archaeologists, so we're looking for human stuff." and the bigfoot guy was like "Oh! I saw some Native American cairns on my way out here. I can give you a general location." and when he was like "Yeah dude, that'd be sick. We're actually looking to document those." the bigfoot guy was like "Yeah, they looked pretty cool. I didn't touch them though, because Native Americans built them, not bigfoot."
i understand (on paper) why companies are anti-piracy but its funny when random individuals are also strongly anti-piracy. like how does it negatively affect your life if someone you know downloads a cracked torrent of sims 4. you dont work for EA. EA isnt gonna pay you for this. you lose nothing. its fine. chill out.
It's interesting to me that people almost universally accept that Luke was the victim when he lost his right hand, and Anakin was the perpetrator and at fault when he lost his Because at their core, those scenes are meant to mirror each other, and George Lucas rarely, if ever, goes for subversion - he loves parallels And parallel is pretty clear: a young jedi-in-training goes up against a Sith Lord with decades worth of skill and experience under his belt, provokes a clearly unfair fight, rushes in thinking he still has a chance, and suffers consequences of his own pride Those situations have very little differences, and the ones that do exist are very superficial Anakin and Luke have similar character traits, they're both described as reckless and headfirst, they're both overconfident in their abilities (Luke has anxieties about his jedi training, but don't tell me that the guy who thought destroying Death Star and shooting an oversized rat is the same thing isn't overconfident), they're both the ones who provoke the fight and refuse to back down when given the opportunity Yet somehow Luke is never at fault because "he was simply defending himself, he had no choice" (reminder: he's the one who started the fight, he ignited his lightsaber and did the first swing, Vader was entertaining his initiative) and Anakin is always at fault because "he was the one who started it, he's stupid for not thinking it through and it's his fault" It should go both ways, but it doesn't I wonder why is that Definitely not because one of them is a "good guy" who is morally superior and other one is a "bad guy" who is weak and evil
people love to talk about how important unconditional love is and celebrate my son's for his father's, but when I, padmé naberrie, have unconditional love FOR THE EXACT SAME PERSON MINUS A FEW THOUSAND ATROCITIES -
who up perceiving and reacting to stimulus
