Apparently some people still need to hear this so: using an 'ai checker' is still using ai. If you are feeding someone's fic to one of these checkers, you will still not be sure their fic is ai because they are not 100% accurate, but you can be 100% sure that you are using ai. For fic. Furthermore you are doing the work of an ai scraper for them. You are, personally, feeding the machine. There is no actual excuse for using an ai checker on fanfic as a hobby. YOU are the problem.
If you think a fic is ai, mute it and move on. That's it. That's all you do.
Um. Yikes

Why is it always orcas or dolphins
Why can't a salmon do some bullshit for once

to me, the cruelest thing that eva stratt does is not the kidnappig itself. it's that she tells grace that he does not even have a dog. dr ryland grace, a man who dedicated his life to the greater good, first to science and then to teaching, does indeed not have a dog. and because of this, he has to spend his last precious moments on his home planet with the full knowledge that while he might be smart enough to save the world, he is not loved enough by anyone on it to be worth saving
I mean you've threatened to kill me a bunch of times. You once told me you were gonna drown me in a river like a kangaroo.
[warm laugh of fond reminiscence] I did do that
our new job launched its mandatory ai transcription program designed to streamline our workflow and not only does it melt down the moment it has to transcribe non-white customers but it keeps hallucinating the existence of a mysterious boy named dorian who shows up in every third call summary
caller got into a car accident on their way to work? their nonexistant son dorian was hurt. got kicked out of a bar and broke their ankle? their son dorian was the one who broke it. i now spend more time having to de-dorian the call summary than if i had just written it myself. really funny. we're required to use this now

Very true
being really good at sandwiches is one of the most valuable skills you can have in this expensive ass world
And its a skill I DON'T have, aside from this one recipe. Listen well freaks.
You can use any kind of bread/cheese/lettuce whatever you have in your fridge. Ive made this sandwich 17 different ways. The basic structure, I have found, is just good as fuck.
The ingredients in parentheses are what I Most Prefer for Ultimate Sandwich, but again, you can use pretty much anything.
You are going to want:
Bread (brown, with seeds)
Butter
Cheese (grated, lactose free)
Leaf veg (romaine, but lettuce is good too)
Meat (sliced ham)
Condiment (mayo and ketchup)
Sandwich Assembly Instructions are as follows.
Get 2 slices of bread, lay them out, and spread butter (and mayo, if applicable) on them. Put one Good, Thick Leaf of veg on each slice. Then take one slice, and put a shit ton of cheese on it. However much you usually add, put a pinch more. Then slap a dollop of ketchup on there and use a knife to smear it around. After that, put a slice of meat. Then take the other slice and put a slice of meat on it, with an extra dollop of condiment on top. Fold the slices onto eachother and BOOM, you are done. You should have a sandwich that goes (top to bottom); Bread, Butter/mayo, Veg, Cheese, Ketchup, Meat, Ketchup/mayo, Meat, Veg, Butter/mayo, Bread
The structure is important because the leaf veg provides crunch, and keeps the condiment from soaking into the bread. The butter helps keep it from going soggy too.
I like to use both ketchup and mayo because i think the tastes go well together, but feel free to replace with your favorite condiment pairing. I prefer seed bread because extra protein or whatever, + its sturdier than like, white bread, which gets flat and sticky really easily. Youll need good sturdy bread to hold all that shit together, after all.
IMPORTANT! if the meat is thin, use two slices like described above. if the meat youre using is thick or in chunks, dont bother doubling up, just add more cheese on the other slice.
Anyway, theres the recipe for Richards Supersandwich. Happy munching.
sounds bad to me but thank you for contributing to the broader sandwich discussion
This this this this!!!
