Sad update everyone, Tama recently passed away… An estimated 3,000 people, including railway officials, attended Tama the cat’s funeral on Sunday, days after she died of heart failure aged 16. [x]

Nitama, already now a mature cat (born 2010), has a protege named Yontama (fourth Tama, b. 2016).  There is no information available for either the physical befellment or tragic self-disgrace which has removed Santama from contention.

okay but actually what happened to santama (or sun-tama-tama, which is her name because it’s a pun on santama) was that she was basically sent to train for the position in okayama and they liked her so much they refused to send her back

“Sun-tama-tama” (a pun off of “Santama”, lit. “third Tama”) was a calico cat sent for training in Okayama. Sun-tama-tama was considered as a candidate for Tama’s successor, but the Okayama Public Relations representative who had been caring for Sun-tama-tama refused to give the cat up writing, “I will not let go of this child, she will stay in Okayama.” [25]

As of September 2018, Sun-tama-tama is working as the stationmaster in Naka-ku, Okayama and appears occasionally on Tama’s Twitter account.

So what I’m getting from the script is...

- Bubbles is a drug addict and alcoholic

- Buttercup is a predatory lesbian stereotype because she was the tomboy in the show. Also, she constantly cheats on any woman she’s with and her characterization is this and just this.

- The professor is an abusive father and boyfriend

- Sara Bellum is just there to be Utonium’s girlfriend

- mojo is a boring ass human

- Butch and Bubbles were almost married but bubbles cut off the engagement because she got high or something

And to top it all off:

In the world of this reboot, the professor(named Drake Utonium) sold the rights of his daughters likenesses or whatever to an animation studio and the original PPG cartoon is said show. Basically saying “yeah, all of those fun adventures and Utonium being a good father were made up for a cartoon” and another middle finger to the original.

Yeah, fuck this show.

Quick edit here: also, apparently, Bubbles did porn at one point. Now, it is totally fine for consenting adults to be sex workers but this show is way too interested in sexualizing these girls. Like, they think giving them sex lives suddenly makes the story more mature. It’s also used as a joke like “ha ha! You were so desperate for attention that you made a porno!”

So yeah, there’s another awful thing for you.
