My opinion about GO3 is irrelevant but can we celebrate one excellent thing that came out of this 10 years roller fucking coaster : David Tennant and Michael Sheen. The fact that this story brought them together, that they and their respective people love hanging out, love working together. There is love. Here they are holding hands on their lil chairs at the end of it all. They are fantastic actors. I hope there will be more pieces of media with them in the future.

“Hollanov Yuri” obviously on principle I support this with a sincere and enthusiastic heart but in that sincereness I do have to admit that I think the specific trials and tribulations of a lesbian situationship would drive Shane Hollander to the brink. It would kill him. Ilya was born to be the crazy bisexual girl you fuck around with in your early 20s that’s in love with you but also actively trying to ruin your life, so being a woman would only enhance his power.

Ilya so immediately clocked Shane's little autistic flirting in that Saskatchewan parking lot but I honestly don't think Shane clocked it himself so, years later, when Ilya talks about it as "Shane coming onto him" and Shane goes "hello??? I just wanted to introduce myself??" Ilya just says, "Shane, the apple of my eye, the light of my life, my breeze in a stuffy room, my sunshine in the dead of winter, when have you ever willingly initiated small talk with another person?" and Shane is forced to concede that, yes, looking back, he was flirting.

I deadass think steve rogers ending was character assassination and conservative rhetoric (send the progressive man back to the decade epitomes with traditional values for a white picket fence life) but it was also just cruel to steve and bucky. “oh ur just mad ur ship didn’t go canon” no im mad the friendship that was the most important thing in both of their lives was tossed aside and the audience was gaslit into believing it didn’t matter despite three films proving otherwise. steve dropped the shield twice for bucky and would have died rather than live in a world where bucky didn’t remember him. bucky broke thru 70 years of brainwashing at the sound of steve’s voice. their catchphrase was essentially “til death do we part”. the fuck
