very captivated by majima and makoto. majima's borderline unhealthy attachment to her after knowing her for a few days that could be genuine love, or perhaps him just latching on to the one genuine and nice relationship in his shitty little life at the time. makoto taking agency regardless of the consequences and having to push back against majima's attachment to do what she thinks is the right course of action. how her fondness of majima could be genuine, or something stirring from her own shitty and vulnerable situation. the takoyaki, from being a nice thing they share to being majima's tool for avoiding difficulties and conflict that he can't deal with as he should. an abused dog latching on to the first person who shows him any sort of kindness, loyal to her to the point of death if it has to come to that. there is a lot here and it's a delight
