but in other ways it’s about existentialism, about conflict of moralities and how far someone will go and what boundaries they will cross to bring about their ideal world

but in many other ways it’s about the cycle of abuse and healing and coming to terms with your own deep flaws, about how you must take responsibility for the hurt you caused others out of pain while also knowing that you yourself are a human being who did not deserve the pain that was inflicted on you, that you can be both victim and abuser and it is possible to rise above and be better than who you were before

but honestly it’s also about trauma and how deep scars can run through you and that sometimes you may never get amends or apologies from those who hurt you, but that a life of good can still be yours to grasp, that there are people who love you no matter what and see the beauty and value in you that you yourself cannot and in fact believe yourself incapable of

but mostly yeah it’s about sexy people shooting guns in the mafia
