Most people struggle to maintain one healthy relationship. Most people do not want to do the work it takes to maintain multiple.

There are lots of books that discuss Ethical behavior and practices in Polyamory.

Is your partner saying they're hurting? Is there clear informed consent, open communication, and regular maintenance of relationship needs? If a partner is hurting, how is it being addressed? These questions are far more important<3

I think it's worth noting that there are lots of different forms of Non-Monogamy that may be worth looking into, Polyamory is just one from under a wide umbrella! As long as you can have open honest communication with your partner, that's what matters -whether it leads to non-monogamy or not. There's a lot of fantastic resources out there, that just exploring (reading, watching videos together, local groups) with a partner can deepen the relationship and at least open the conversation.

(As far as attachment issues - it's a great thing to explore with a therapist! Security in a relationship is important [monogamy or not!] However wanting to explore with other people does not necessarily indicate there is anything wrong with you <3)
