for the past week or two i have been in contact with my 18-year-old friend Ahmed in Gaza every single day. his family of SEVEN (his brother, parents, uncle & aunt, and grandfather) is struggling immensely - they have been displaced from their home in North Gaza (which was destroyed and ransacked by the IOF), then from Rafah where they were staying in hopes of evacuating, and then a few times in the middle area where they are currently staying.
this is what Ahmed's house looked like after it was bombed and looted by the IOF. can you imagine such a thing?!
recently Ahmed told me the unfortunate news that his family survived an airstrike on the building they were staying next to. as a result, he is being forcibly displaced yet again. he will have 3 weeks to find somewhere else to go, and his family is terrified.
at his request, i am soliciting donations to help his family buy a tent. they have a strict deadline of September 20th to buy the tent - because it will take some time to transfer the money and find somewhere to get a tent from. the donations will come directly to me, and then i will send them directly to Ahmed in Gaza.
tents in Gaza cost $700 and this is how much we are asking for. anything raised in excess will help them eat.
can you please share this post and donate? we only have 2 weeks to help my friend before him, his brother, his parents, his aunt & uncle, and his grandfather are forced out onto the streets - which are filled with rubble, disease, and trash. there is nowhere safe in Gaza, but a tent is better than nothing.

i feel like greg would go to the part of the public pool that has the water that sprays up from the ground , and he would stand on it , hoping to be shot up into the air by the water pressure, but instead gets a mean blast to the grundle and when he goes back to the hotel room sopping wet and forlorn and tom (toms there cause this is a business trip) tom starts yelling at him for coming up to the room without drying off and he’s going “fuck sake greg you’re clown feet are leaving wet footprints in the fucking carpet, chinese theater of chlorine and polio , you know the towels are fucking free at the pool dipshit” and greg goes “sorry” but then he squeezes the legs of his trunks out of habit to wring them out and gets more water on the carpet , tom hits him too hard and they don’t talk until the meeting they were travelling for
