I am trying out a neogender (eldritchgender) but may simply be agender, I don't know yet. I go by he/she/they pronouns and would like to be refered to with the Mx. title if you want to be formal, otherwise just refer to me as any gender you want as long as it's funny.

I use 'guys' and 'dude' in a gender neutral manner and may accidentally slip up and use an incorrectly gendered term due to my own rather plastic identity and also memory issues, please gently correct me.

I am currently focused on the Redacted SMP fandom but tend to reblog art from any fandom with a preference for minecraft fandoms and pokemon.

I enjoy horror media but am also easily overwhelmed. I have glitches as my special interest, along with speculative biology, both of which are mainly exercised on my pkmn irl blog @professorzzazz.

A class action lawsuit is a lawsuit that serves multiple individuals who share a commonality in why and how they were harmed by a single body. A discriminatory action against multiple trans woman would, based off my limited knowledge, absolutely be grounds for one.

Tumblr was already sued for discrimination against its queer base and ended up settling.

I’ve been thinking about how to put this into some form of dignification because I’m very upset about my friend getting nuked like that but the only way I can put it is:

having known avery across 5 accounts now it’s been exhausting to watch the staff get more & more hostile every time she got deleted & to watch as terfs gain more power over the “queerest place on the web”. I guess I’m not the first person to say that it makes me feel less safe on the site I’ve spent over a decade on & I feel even worse for avery essentially being put in exile from the wider community, no one likes being isolated.

I generally keep out of arguments but I’m very upset at the transmascs that bought into the terf divide-and-conquer strategies over the past year, both on & off this website. I kept my mouth shut so I wouldn’t have people barking down my throat & half the time it looked like everyone was just arguing in circles but at the end of the day it’s us trans women that get our teeth kicked in for daring to stand on our own two feet.

I’m not surprised at the staff’s handling of all of this either, with the ceo being as paper thin as he is, the lawsuit they’re trying to ignore & the fact we know that there are terfs on tumblr’s staff, this was a car crash waiting to happen. there’s not much else for me to say that’s already been said, the only thing I’m wondering is how matt plans on getting american authorities involved when avery lives in northern ireland.

I doubt this post is even going to reach outside of the circle of trans women who already agree with my sentiments & if it does I’m probably just gonna be yelled at & be called a crazy tranny but I don’t really care, this shouldn’t have been a thing to begin with but I guess the existence of trans women never makes any of you happy.

Someone once pointed out that fic of a series contains whatever the original series does NOT contain, because much fanfic is essentially re-imagining the same characters in different genres.

So why does the Hannibal fandom have so many Domestic AUs? Because we've already seen what these characters are like in a horror-tragedy, now we want to see how they handle living happily ever after.

Why does MLP have some of the most fucked up fic out there? because we've already seen them in an extremely wholesome world, now we want to see them in a visceral horror.

Why is the version of Breaking Bad that lives on tumblr so Silly and Absurd? because the original show was very serious and grim, now we want to see them be happy little weirdos doing slapstick.

And I also think that's beautiful. The human experience is vast, and playing with "How would Blorbo react if I put him in this situation?" is an important way of learning how to appreciate the beauty of that vastness.

I also think it's beautiful because it's DEEPLY entertaining to watch someone move characters from one genre to another like redirecting the flow of a river.

i am not happy with our choices this election. But you should know that the reason he's the first president to "refuse" a cognitive test is because one isn't included in the presidential physical exam in the first place.

There was a petition of doctors who wanted Trump's cognitive function tested during his physical exam, and everybody involved on the republican side said no, and then Trump himself actually insisted he did take one in a fit of ego. He was, as far as i can tell, the first president to ever take one while in office.

At his request for the cognitive testing, Trump's doctor administered the Montreal Cognitive Assessment which is like 5 questions and has not been proven to be an accurate test of much at all. It's a lot like when you hit your head and they ask you the date and your name and stuff -- answering correctly in no way means you don't have a head injury or concussion or whatever, it's just a couple of first step questions. Then Trump said a lot of lies and bullshit about his "cognitive test"

Now republicans and right leaning publications are spreading shit like this. Biden didn't "refuse" a cognitive test, his aides confirmed that, as usual, a cognitive test is not included during the president's doctor visit.

again, i think our choices are shit this election, i don't like how old Biden is, and i think the way our first-past-the-poll voting system automatically results in an extremist two party system fronting candidates that the majority of the country doesn't like is some fucked up bullshit

but our house is on fire and one candidate is a bucket of water that won't help much and the other is a bucket of gasoline, and, y'know, angry as i am about it all i am still going to vote for the bucket of water while we look for other solutions
