“Oh! Well,um, thank you!” Ann giggled softly as she received the compliment from her friend. She didn’t get the answer she was looking for, but appreciated the compliment all the same.

“You look pretty as well, Futaba. I’m almost jealous of your hair. Even with it so long, its so strong and beautiful. Last time I let my hair get that long, it would up being a jagged, dead mess and I had to lop half of it off,” she went on to explain. “So for you to do such a good job…. I can’t help but admire that.”

Futaba blushed a bit as she looked at Ann, “Thanks Ann... I don’t really do anything special to it... it just kinda turned out like this,” she said awkwardly as she tried to dissuade the compliment that she was just given. Though she had to admit, that it was making her feel more comfortable around Ann. Left relaxed, Futaba found her eyes drifting to the same place where they had been hovering for most of today, Ann’s body. She barely even realized she was doing it, until the apparent desires were pretty prevalent on her face.

“Sure!” Ann wasn’t much of a gamer, but if Futaba wanted to show her the game, then she wasn’t going to dissuade her. Maybe she’ll find it interesting! So she took the controller and began to play alongside her.

The game itself was interesting and did have Ann’s interest, but the majority of her attention was focused on her friend Futaba. She was acting weird…. well weirder than usual. She kept glancing at her when she knew that she normally threw herself wholeheartedly into her gaming and computers. Yet, even with her attention seemingly split, Futaba spanked Ann into next week, though Ann was faring a bit better than usual, at least in her opinion. After a couple rounds of this, Ann turned to Futaba with a quirked brow. “Hey, is something up? You seem distracted.”

Futaba did her best to remain calm in the whole situation, but mentally she was starting to go into panic mode. She figured that Ann would find her weird and unpleasant if she knew what was happening. Trying to keep her eyes laser focused on the TV she said, “I’m fine... not distracted... at all...” shakily as she once again demolished Ann. It wasn’t like she really needed to try that hard, she could probably beat Ann with one hand. 

However despite her best efforts, her eyes did once again drifted back to Ann’s body. It was extremely embarrassing for her to think about, but she simply couldn’t stop herself. She eventually piped up and said, “You... look pretty...” as her best explanation. Admiring someone being pretty and perving are two different things Futaba.

 Shoes were kicked off at the door as Ann happily followed Futaba to her air-conditioned room where Ann flopped out onto her bed to enjoy the cold air.

After stretching a little, Ann would sit straight up, crossing her legs as she put her attention on Futaba. As Futaba would gaze at her legs, she would notice that Ann didn’t bother with her signature red tights that she often wore with her uniform due to the hot temperatures, and opted for knee-socks instead… allowing for plenty of bare, glistening skin to be exposed.

Futaba found herself being a bit mesmerized from the glistening of her legs, but did her best to keep her composure. She blushed a bit as she said, “So, lets get started on that game, shall we?” a bit awkwardly. After ripping her eyes away from Ann, she went to set up the game for the two of them. She then proceeded to a take a seat down on the bed next to Ann.

It definitely felt a bit awkward for Futaba to be sat right next to her, due to the previous experience with the staring. She did her best to focus on the game, and made sure to try her best to beat Ann. However, she would often drift her attention away from the TV to the bare legs of Ann, and then back again.

Summer time had come for Tokyo. Ann was now in her third year and studying for entrance exams. Between that, her modeling, and her social life, she rarely had a free day. Today was no exception. However, she wasn’t scheduled for a shoot or for cramming. Today, she had set aside to hang out with Futaba. Futaba had wanted to introduce her to some games, so she decided hang out with her.

She didn’t see her at school, so Ann presumed she went straight home. Thus, she finds herself at the door of the Sakura residence and rings the doorbell, hoping Futaba answers. If not, she’ll shoot her a text.

Futaba smiled as she went downstairs to open the door for Ann. She had been coming out of her shell more lately, with the whole attending school and all, but she still kept all her weird eccentricities. One of them being spending all her time indoors, but that was besides the point. She smiled as she opened the door for Ann and guided her inside. She was grateful that Ann managed to set time out of her busy schedule to spend time with her.

Futaba was dressed in a less traditional outfit for her, mainly due to the fact that it didn’t include her coat. After all, it was summer. Once her and Ann were settled, she couldn’t help but feel her eyes fixate on her friend with all her various... features. Specifically her legs became a focal point.

“Mama!” The purple haired girl ran up to Noire before hugging her tightly, tears streaming down her face as she did her best to hiccup out what she was saying. “T-they said I have no f-friends!”

“Shhhh, its okay sweetie. You have plenty of friends,” Noire said as she gently laid on a hand on her daughter and pulled her into a hug. She made sure to give her a shoulder to cry on, while attempting to gain more information. “Who would say that to you?” Noire said, being ready to give whoever would bully her daughter a stern talking to.

Gotta say this one definitely stumps me. The obvious answer would be Neptune, because of the hair color and whole Noire no friends bit, but that also seems too obvious. Can’t really think of any Neptunia characters with purple hair besides Plutia.

Now that was cute. Rise was pleasantly surprised by the other girl’s willingness to indulge her, and she couldn’t help but let out a bright laugh. Dancing was always so much more fun with a friend, after all! Even if the other girl didn’t seem as skilled or comfortable with it, the sheer fact that she was trying her hardest anyway was just precious. “Atta’girl, keep moving your hips like that!”

Amber hues flitted down, gliding along her new dance partner’s form to see what, if anything, could be improved. With a smile, she looked up into the girl’s eyes again, offering another friendly wink as she rose her arms up, swaying and bobbing back and forth, “Put your arms in the air, too. Get your whole body into it~!”

An adorable smile found itself creeping onto Nepgear’s face from Rise’s words. It was always less embarrassing when she got such warm and genuine reassurance. She giggled a bit shyly as she kept dancing, making sure to keep time with the music and with her partner. She kept shaking her hips as she was instructed, and did her best to make it look attractive. This was definitely out of the ordinary for her, but she felt comfortable with this girl. 

Noticing her new friend’s arm movements, Nepgear did her best to replicate it. She giggled a bit as she swayed some more and said, “Like this?” Nepgear was genuinely having a lot of fun dancing, which was more than she expected from going out to buy clothes.

Oh dear. The infamous ‘dancing bug’ seemed to have bitten the twintailed girl… Her orange blouse swished about, momentarily exposing her midriff as she twirled and laughed, positively beaming as she pranced. Perhaps the upbeat music playing in the shop had inspired such a display? With such a cute, talented dancer weaving between the dresses and other fashion on display, one might think that the employees would grow disgruntled… After all, she was a distraction.

But, with so many eyes drawn into their store, perhaps those employees might be glad at the potential new customers coming to watch the impromptu show? Then again, they might have ended up disgruntled again, if that influx of people dispersed without buying anything when the girl’s dance inevitably ended…

In any case, Rise Kujikawa was having a good time, and she didn’t care what others thought about it. With another smile and a wink, she held her hands out to the nearest person. “Dance with me!”

It looked like Nepgear’s shopping trip would end up getting a bit interrupted. Dressed in her usual sailor outfit, she figured that she some new fashions would be in order. She wasn’t expecting to receive the show that the young former idol was putting on display for the store’s denizens. Despite the strangeness of the situation, Nepgear had to admit that she would probably do the same if she heard this music in private. 

She was broken out of her thoughts when this mysterious girl suddenly extended a hand out to her. An awkward blush immediately rushed over her face, but she did smile a bit. “Okay...” she said shyly as she did her best to move her hips to the beat of the music. She managed to get into her groove relatively quickly, however she still looked a bit out of her element.
