I AM NOT HATING ON ROSE!!
But Rose & Finn SHOULD NOT get together. That said let me get into my arguement.
Rose & Finn should not get together because Rose Tico is a major Finn Fan-girl. Rose does not know Finn properly, and she idealized what he might be like in her head before she even saw him. In order for the romance to make sense they should either:
Have Rose & Finn date, break-up do to fundemental differences, then return to the concept off not meeting your heros (also not dating/marrying someone you just met).
OR wait for the relationship to mature past the point of Finn being a war hero, let time pass, return after a year at war and say that Rose & Finn understand each other well enough to have a healthy relationship.
For me not even Rey & Finn make sense as a couple because Finn developed a strong attraction to Rey seemingly out of nowhere but force bond(?) and vanity. Finn also may not have had a normal relationship before. Finn put his neck on the line for Rey every chance he got, but Rey only got mad cause Ben nearly killed him and thats her connection to him.
Reylo (the name ill use for the ship) makes the most sense to me because they have the most chemistry rn. They have talked numerous amounts of times through the force instead of trying to kill each other all the time. Ben & Rey without prompting from anyone else took the time to get to know each other (even though Ben did so by invading her mind). Rey learned about Ben through Luke, Leia, Han, and even Finn, which led her to know more about him than anyone else. Rather than be manipulated by Snoke the two seemed more focused on learning about eachother and turning them to their side. Ben is an asshole but he understands Reys attachment to the others (even if it doesnt make sense), he only knows that he needs to sever those bonds though (if Anakin appears to him im sure he'll turn). Rey i dont think was told the truth about her family, so i think if it is revealed that she is desendant from sith she may also turn, but I am of they mind set that they absolutely need to strike a balance with each other, which is why Reylo makes sense to me.
