This caption is not actually correct, the fawn and bobcat were not found in an office together cuddling after a forest fire. The bobcat kitten was found first incredible dehydrated a week prior and then the 2009 Jesusita forest fire occurred and the rescue then had to deal with a huge flood of animals. Animal Rescue Team was saving as many animals as they could, but because of the massive number of animals they ran out of space and didn’t have any choice but to temporarily place the two together while they were running more rescues.

Usually, you would never house these two species together, but when in an emergency situation with literally nowhere else to put them, the rescue had to do it. Luckily for them, the 3 week old kitten and 3 day old fawn quickly bonded in their dire circumstance and several very cute photos were taken before the two were separated to be raised separately for release once the situation had cleared up and there was space for the fawn.

Learning the whole story also means that you get to find out that there are more photos!!

Things that make me chuckle:

Everyone being convinced Harlow would die because of medical neglect from Santos, turns out she’s fine, Santos diagnosed and discharged her without issue, and it was simply a storyline to illustrate the lack of care when it comes to translation services.

People thinking Santos was going to tell everyone in the ED about Langdon after she gave him that ultimatum, turns out Santos didn’t mean it she was just angry and lashing out because of all her frustration around the situation and she doesn’t actually want him to prostrate himself she just wants to feel like she’s safe and heard and doesn’t know how else to ask for that.

Fandom convinced that Mel actually really dislikes Santos, turns out Mel and Santos just don’t know how to communicate with one another or connect, but when they try a new, different way, they are able to help one another find release after a horrific day at work in a way that gives them the community they crave.

So anyway it turns out evil monster Trinity is actually just a person doing her best.

If Shane and Ilya have to be on the same team it should have been Boston.

I think they would crown him a champion. I think they would be like “the gay thing is weird but we can’t argue with results and anyway Ilya’s fucked all the pussy from Boston to Montreal it makes sense he’s branched out. Ilya is their god king and Shane is therefore untouchable. The people of Boston and the team itself would be shitting themselves with sheer joy at the chance to beat the shit out of Montreal in every way that matters. It’s a literal bloodbath every time. People are crying in the streets watching their boys give a beatdown to every Metro who gets near Shane on the ice. Everyone’s uncle from south Boston gets a little worked up around their Newport like “he may be a homo but he’s our homo. And he plays some damn fine hockey.” They name one of the harbor seals after him.

ok but whitaker being unhoused puts so many things into perspective. when he asks kiara if they get a lot of homeless around here and it seems like he’s just being curious but really he’s trying to suss out whether he’s an outlier or not. how quickly he backs down and removes all the PPE shit he was wearing when he’s talking to mr. krakozhia, and how quickly he volunteers for the street team. the way he offers to PERSONALLY bring krakozhia his meds every month. he’s carrying around this big secret and it’s clear he feels a level of shame/embarrassment about it. he doesn’t even come out and say he’s unhoused when santos finds and confronts him. but he goes in for his first day of ED rotation and quickly learns just how many resources are out there for people in his same situation. and instead of asking for help for himself he decides to do as much as possible to help OTHERS. all while getting sprayed with piss and blood and catching rats. who is doing it like him

I often think about how Lewis said he personally called so many drivers in 2020 and personally asked them to kneel for BLM. I think about how he said he personally tried to explain the protest to them and answer all their questions. I think about how he felt when so many of them still declined. I think about how he was fined for wearing shirts for BLM. I think about how F1 stopped him from wearing a shirt that simply said "Justice for Breonna Taylor." because F1 wanted to 'de-politicise' the sport. I think about how when they asked Stefano Domenicali, the CEO of F1, about Lewis' activism, he said F1 is not racist and he does not "Percieve" the racism Lewis is talking about.

I think about how Nelson Piquet, who was fined $1 million for racially abusing Lewis on video was *banned* from the paddock. I think about how he just showed up to the paddock today clearly wearing a paddock pass and hanging out outside of Red Bull, not even hiding inside.

I think how this is all so symptomatic of how rotten to the core F1 is. How Lewis being the most successful driver in the history of the sport did not spare him from this.
