For the ignorant: it was Simchat Torah, a Jewish holy day.

And we know, from Hamas protocols found in Gaza, that they had 4 options for when they would carry out the massacre, and ALL were on Jewish holy days.

Also, funny how the Ramadan was a non-issue when Muslims were the ones choosing to start a war (like in 1973) or carry out a terrorist attack during that time.

I did see a post concerned on Ramadan fighting but honestly? If the person had expressed the same for Jewish Israelis for Oct 7th, then hey whatever-they're being consistent. Chances are high they didn't however and are spreading conspiracy shit. And honestly, it just reminds me of the Super Bowl conspiracy shit.

Like yes! It's terrible to fight during Ramadan! It's also terrible to commit to a fucking pogrom and start a fucking war on Simchat Torah! No picking and choosing here.

I put it in the tags, but I'm going to put it here-I'm getting tired of the concern trolling and erasing of Jewish holidays to make it seem like Israel and only Israel does this. That's highly antisemitic because knowingly or not, you're basically saying its ok for Muslims to attack Jewish people on their holy days, but how dare they on Muslim holy days.
