Northstar Galactic Command (GALCOMM or NGC for short) is a proactive security force owned by our parent company IPS-N (@ips-northstar-official). Our mission is to provide robust naval assets and services to assist with the transportation and reactive defense of clients, goods, and resources outside of the Galactic Core.

Don't have the manpower and logistics to operate your own warship? No problem! NGC vessels are owned, maintained, and supplied by IPS-N, and operated by professional IPS-N crews. Just sign on the metaphorical dotted line and a NGC battlegroup will be at your disposal for as long as you need it.

Already have your own fleet, but need some extra support? We've got you covered! NGC crews and vessels will integrate seamlessly into your existing command structure, whether at the ship, battlegroup, or fleet level.

Think of us like mercenaries, but a lot more dependable. As the Northstar name implies, IPS-N has been humanity's guiding light since the earliest days of Union, and our brand is synonymous with reliability. The Greenland-class battlecarrier is technically a product of our parent company, IPS-N. Northstar Galactic Command doesn't build them, we just use them.

That said, we use them a lot.

Greenlands form the core of a lot of NGC heavy packages. The Eiland-class is more popular for long-range convoy escort missions (because it's basically a mobile shipyard), but you can't beat the Greenland for putting chassis and strike craft on a target while also slugging it out on the front lines.

It is usually classified as any nanite payload prepackaged and preprogrammed for a single purpose. Unlike greywash, whitewash does not replicate so it is much safer to use.

The most famous application of whitewash is likely IPS-N's range of naval sealants, which are usually deployed via sprayers to plug hull breaches. This isn't the only example of whitewash, but it is often what people mean when they use the phrase.

It works extremely well on mechs, for a certain definition of "well".

It doesn't do anything structurally (that's what your repair systems are for), but it's fantastic for putting out fires. This includes fires that don't need oxygen to burn, so it's extremely useful against enemies with incendiary weapons.

Since it's supposed to seal large holes in larger starships, it sprays in a giant deluge and sticks like glue. Less great for your allies, but very helpful if you need to tarpit hostiles.

It comes with the second level of IPS-N's Lancaster license. There are other ways you can get hull sealant, for example GMS makes their own sealant because they make everything, but if you want something you can put on a mech and use on or off the battlefield I'm afraid the Lancaster license is probably your only legal option.

As many pirates and criminals have proven it is always possible to illegally obtain proprietary frames and equipment, but IPS-N and similar corporations are empowered to take aggressive steps when protecting their intellectual property.

If I may ask, what are you trying to do with this? If you're trying to fix a hole in a Mech, there are better options. If it's a one-time thing, you may be able to find someone with a Lancaster who can help. Most shipyards have at least one crawling around, it's amazing for engineering work. But if you're looking to move into a tactical support role then I do suggest pursuing the Lancaster license.

I can put you in touch with a friend who pilots a Lancaster if that's something you're interested in.

If you're just looking to repair cosmetic damage, the license package for your mech should probably include some basic fillers compatible with your Mech. The nature of these fillers will depend on your exact Frame.

For widespread damage (roasted by a flamer or took a dip in acid), you'll likely want to reprint and replace if that's an option for you.

Medical nanites are outside our ability to comment on, but I can confirm that they are usually very different from the ones used for repair. Please keep this in mind, especially when working with artificial limbs or components.
