I don't have a LOT of reach but these ads are all over tumblr and a lot of officalverse followers/blogs are young people, so let me just talk about this.
Do not, please, please, do not use shapes.inc, or any other ai chatbots, such as chatgpt, replika, or c.ai. Most of us know about the environmental impacts of the datacenters these things use, and the mass plagiarism, but I want to talk about something else, as the current tumblr ads are advertising something that wants to be your "friend".
They are extremely dangerous to your mental health, because they target you in a vulnerable place, exactly like an abuser would, that place being lonely. There have been many documented cases of chatbots warping peoples sense of reality so they are reliant on it for validation. It has ended in several suicides and murders. These machines are designed to encourage your opinions, making paranoid beliefs heighten. It has taken people from a normal and happy life to walking into traffic. It had a young man take his life.
I am BEGGING you all to not use it, but to help those around you. Please don't come off as hostile, because that leads them back to their abuser, as that is what these bots are. Tell them the reality and gravity of these situations because they need to hear it, and if they're young and won't listen please contact an adult, such as a councilor at school, yours or their parents if they are safe people, a teacher, or one of many helplines globally. Teens, especially mentally ill ones, are the biggest targets, but adults can fall prey to this to, so keep an eye on your loved ones, okay?
If you yourself are struggling with loneliness and feel this is your only place to turn, carefully join online communities, just remember human abusers can employ tactics like this, or join clubs in your community, such as school societies, athleisure centers, libraries, etc. Don't let them take another life.

Now I saw the reblog about X being treated poorly in X Dive and the username in my notif genuinely made me wheeze as I playfully roll my eyes while muttering "Not another Zero fan, huh..."
Okok, aside from that I do agree about wanting someone who's emotionally available (like X) over someone who hides and repairs himself after disappearing for about 3 weeks (ahem- Zero). Alright, that's all. Your username made me laugh so I just wanted to say that and it also reminds me of my idea where I give X a costume for Easter that I keep forgetting/procrastinating about... Sooo.. Thanks for the reminder, haha.

Something I noticed about Mega Man X Dive. The White Day costumes are some sort of tradition in Japan where recipients of Valentine's Day gifts are expected to return them to the giver.
Axl has a White Day costume. X doesn't.
Granted, X doesn't get any special costumes outside of collabs, but let that sink in. Axl is considered more romantically desirable than X.
This actually says a lot about how developers feel about X as a character. They literally tried to replace him with Axl in the past with X7, which would allow him to "pair better" with Zero. Interviews regarding Command Mission's development suggested that the developers found X boring and assumed that the players would get tired of him, so they decided to alter X's personality and design to make him more appealing.... by taking away the element of his personality that made him stand out from the world around him, entirely missing the point of his character. In short, Japanese developers see X as disdainful at best, and mentally weak at worst. It intersects with toxic masculinity and patriarchal frameworks that says a man who is empathetic and mindful of his actions is weak and undesirable. Unlike characters like Zero and Axl who are action ready, and eager for battle. A mindset that Americans would easily go along with as they share some similar ideologies of masculinity as Japan does.
People are quick to say that Dive is good to X because he gets the most costumes, but those costumes are primarily functional, nothing that expresses a semblance of personality. It's a subtle form of dehumanization, even for a character that technically isn't human, and it sends a subtle message that X isn't deserving of love, either platonically or romantic.
Even Vile gets a Halloween costume, and he's one of the most irrelevant characters in all of Mega Man.
Personally, I don't think Collaborative costumes would count as they're essentially different characters rather than alt skins
Let my guy X have one skin for a special event that let his personality shine.....

As much as I love Zero, I feel like the series wrote itself into this mess by not giving X (the games' namesake btw) many chances for development as a character. It seems like even from the beginning he was kind of pushed to the side story-wise.
Then again, doesn't surprise me since X was only made as a main character replacement...
Also, X being undesirable? Yeah, tell that to all his female fans. ¬_¬
But, yeah, he deserves fun costumes and other stuff too.

So, yeah, would have posted sooner but this site kept giving me login errors. I did check again yesterday morning and managed to get is but didn't really have time to post.

Late on posting this due to motivation and sickness, but that's how things go sometimes.
Anyway, this was on the trickier side for me as I don't purposely usually work from a limited palette (unless I'm doing pixel art). It's also why this isn't more complex than it could be. Managed to keep it at 8 colors though and it's something I may explore again at another time.
